On the previous page, Ruby was able to cure our kitten's red eyes. Now she seems to be targeting his backside to cure it, too. Whether that's good or bad, we'll soon find out. One thing is for sure, no stimulants could keep our kitten from passing out from such intense sensations. Apparently, they really were much stronger than anyone could have imagined. At any rate, our kitten is now protected from limbo, at least for the time being, right? Right...?

Hmm... wonder if that 'nourishing enema' is gonna be comprised of what she had been milking out of him.

Это очень печальная новость... Я надеюсь, что беды всё же обойдут тебя стороной, и мы сможем ещё увидиться здессь, или где-то ещё. Не сдавайся! Я посылаю все возможные лучи добра тебе!

Is it ever going to be explored in full detail what limbo is and want Alice’s plan for Ginger is with it? If I had to guess what it is in basic terms (though I could be wrong), it's the place that makes the difference between a functioning living being and an organic fleshlight that happens to be breathing. Whenever Ginger is in ‘pink eye super pleasure’ mode and enters this land of tentacles and sinister voices (and weird shadow thing apparently), it tells her to submit to her pleasures and let go of her consciousness, which I can only interpret as some sort of mental or identity death, where the brain shuts off and the body just becomes a receptive living sex doll to be used and nothing else due to the mind not being able to handle the overwhelming pleasure of Alice’s experimentations. What’s most confusing about this is understanding Alice’s motivation when it comes to this realm and its purpose for Ginger. One one hand, we had the sequence from page 90-130 that implies Alice wants Ginger to enter this limbo, at least in some form. On the other hand, when Ginger was at risk of entering this state in pages 141-150 Alice intervened and stopped it from happening. And now we have Alice’s assistant Ruby seemingly working to ensure that Ginger can be receptive to extreme forms of pleasure without being at risk of entering this pink eyed limbo. So what’s the end goal here? I mean, the story is presumably being told as a flashback by Ginger, so I can infer that at least a little bit, no Alice wants Ginger as a person to continue, she wouldn’t be able to recall any of this if her brain was completely fried. That and Alice seems at times, very concerned for Ginger when she shows signs of losing her mind throughout the comic (leaving her brain under the influence of tapes for hours, as an example) but if there’s anything to be inferred by the programming sequence, limbo seems to be some sort of desired result. Maybe Alice wants Ginger to be able to experience this uber pleasure limbo without losing herself? Also something else not directly related but to add fuel to the speculation. Alice took Ginger out for a date earlier in the comic. If Alice was just crafting a living sex doll with no brain, she’d have no reason to do this. She hasn’t exactly been easing Ginger into this new life of hers, so taking her out on a date just to ease her test subject’s mind under false assurances seems unlikely as she’s not been gentle with anything else. It’s clear that if this date means anything, that Alice definitely doesn’t want Ginger to undergo identity death and that after Alice achieves her goals with the experiment and Ginger remains in one piece, that Alice wants to take her as more than just a pet, but a partner. All speculation tho. Love the comic.

It's certainly a pretty detailed analysis of what happened. As you correctly point out, limbo is the very place where the kitten has gone before, and judging by Alice's concerns, this place might indeed have quite a negative effect on the mind ;-)

"Maybe Alice wants Ginger to be able to experience this uber pleasure limbo without losing herself? " I hope my idea is correct, where Alice wants Ginger to be able to do this and not lose herself in the process. The alternative is just a bit too unsettling and horrifying in its implications, and it wouldn't make much sense for Alice to care this much if 'flesh puppet' was the objective, especially since Alice is incredibly hard and cold in almost everything else she does, even her other 'employees', and only breaks this demeanor when Ginger is in danger, mentally or otherwise.
