Hello all of you cuties! As some (many) of you know, I am a huge nerd. I love fantasy and sci-fi stuff with a passion, and I currently play Dungeons and Dragons every Sunday with my best friend, my brother, and two of our nearby neighbors. I was asked by one of you lovelies to share some updates on the adventures we've been going on!

For those of you that are still reading, let me spin you a fabulous yarn!

First, our party!

-My older brother is playing the role of Dungeon Master, telling the tale of our heroic group, and building the world and its inhabitants for us to venture through! He created an entire continent from scratch called Creos, where our hapless party has sailed to find adventure and glory.

-My friend (we'll call him T) is playing the Half-Elf Paladin, Tyrion. He worshipped a god of light and justice, but in this new world, his connection to that god has faltered, and he has fallen in with a new god. One of neutrality and even-handed justice. Neither good, nor evil. Seeking balance above all things. Tyrion is essentially just the validation to call ourselves heroes, as the rest of us rarely act on any sense of morality.

-My friend (we'll call him O) is playing the Halfling Rogue, Cade. A fast talking and quick fingered fellow focused almost entirely on how much money he can make out of any situation. Since coming to this new world, he has found an entire continent rich with spoils that they could live without, and which Cade will happily separate from them. He has "acquired" the deeds to several businesses in a small town across the continent, which he has hired a child to cross to collect rent. We can only hope that child is now some high-level badass taking on the world, and not a tasty meal for some creature. Cade has also gotten married to a Half-Giant named Brunhilde. She is... lovely, in her own way. A sweet and kind woman who runs a tavern called the Olive Branch.

-My roommate (we'll call him J) is playing the Half-Orc Ranger, Thok. A brutish and simple man, but strong as hell, and reliable. Thok is a devastating force on the battlefield, able to whirlwind through multiple enemies at once and sustain heavy damage before even breaking a sweat. His allegiance is unquestioned, but his background is murky. In secret, Thok's soul is claimed and fought for by two dark gods, the patron god of the orcs, Krog, and the goddess of death, Lua. Every time Thok falls in combat, he is reborn by their powers, and they cast a die to see who gets the next piece of him.

-And finally, my character. A Tiefling (half-demon) Warlock, Azatheal. He has no memory of his life before being hauled on a prison ship to Creos, chained and naked with no belongings to his name. A dark and ancient power reached out to Azatheal asking for sacrifices in exchange for power. Implanted with a slithering mass in place of his organs, Azatheal has no need for food or drink, and barely needs to sleep. He also has access to dark and powerful magics that allow him to confuse and overpower his enemies, as well as aid his friends. From invisibility, to reading minds, to summoning demons and the undead, Azatheal is a force to be reckoned with, both in and out of combat. However, due to this power, he is slowly losing his mind. From being deathly afraid of apples, and strangely fond of animals, Azatheal adds quite a bit of spice to the party.

-In this episode:
Our "heroes" have been hired by the King of Byxanthium's brother to head north into a land called Hel, where a powerful source of ancient magic awaits. Our journey has led us into a mountain range called The Scar where many of the Dwarven clans have built their fortresses and holds, both above and below the mountains.

While resting at a tavern in one of the Dwarven holds, Cade received a small chest from an unknown sender, and the chest contained a finger and a lock of hair, suspiciously similar to his wife, Hilde's. We are currently weeks away from her city, and debating what to do about this dreadful news.

As we head under the mountains and through a large carved tunnel, we were ambushed by a swarm of undead creatures, harassing us by all sides as a large shadowy figure cast spells to disrupt us. Azatheal is able to cast a few spells to cancel out enemy spells, but it was not enough to hold him off entirely. We smashed the smaller fiends with ease, but while we were all busy handling the little foes, and I was no longer able to interrupt the spells of the shadowy figure, he snuck in and upon touching the scientist who was leading us north, they both vanished.

The remainder of the little enemies snuck away into a large tunnel leading into the wall of the cave, where our party waits until the next session, deliberating on our plan of action.

Would this be something you would be interested in putting into audio format? Id really love to just hear you explain it in detail even though I don't really know what going on 😌

Oh! That could actually be really fun! I'll have to see about recording it as well as writing it out, for those who want both options. Thank you for the suggestion! 😊💕
