Life had been treating you well 

Your family were wealthy and influential people who owned a Hot spring inn at the outskirts of a large forest 

Infact 

The forest itself was part of the property

So your Dad was organizing hunting trips

And pro hero training seminars inside of it 

And somehow that was legal

While you mother took care of the guests 

You yourself could even afford to go to the prestigious UA High

However all this did leave a certain emptiness inside your gut 

From the beginning you knew that eventually you had to take it over 

Regardless of how far you made it in life you will inherit the inn at the old forest and be forced to take care of it 

It was a blessing and a curse 

Right now you tried to enjoy your summer holidays by relaxing in the artificial hot spring your uncle had installed a few years ago 

A wooden wall was separating your section with the section for males 

Not many guests were checked in thanks to the recent rise in crime across japan not many people ventured out into the countryside 

Which was ironic considering the fact that at these outskirts the worst that can happen is a lost wallet 

You were about to dunk your head underwater when you heard the opening of a sliding door 

You looked up to see who was entering

But your door was still closed

“Must have been on the other side”

You thought 

“You really wanna do this huh?” 

That voice

“We are both on the lower end of thinks…”

“CLASS 1 B IS JUST AS GOOD IF NOT BETTER THEN CLASS A!” 

Interrupted the other voice 

Your put your hand over your mouth 

It were Shinzo and monomoa 

Two boys from your school 

Did they know your parents owned the inn?

Why were they here?

“Whatever man” 

You heard the noise of splashing water 

One of them must have jumped in

“Ow! Bumped my head” grunted monomoa 

You snorted

Quite enough for them not to hear

“Stunts like this are the reason you always fail” 

This was followed by more light steps into the warm liquid 

Clearly shinso respected the rules of the hot spring more

For a moment there was silence 

Only the noise of the bubbling water and cicadas could be heard

“Ready?” asked shinsou

“Yes” said the other reluctant in his tone

“Go kiss the wall” 

You didn’t have time to think of what that meant when you heard the noise of someone standing up and walking closer

You turned and looked at the wooden wall 

After a few seconds of silence an audible mua echoed over to you

“God you suck at this” 

Giggled shinso

“THIS IS HARD YOU KNOW!” 

Shinzo’s giggle turned to laughter

“Dude language”

“ASK ME ANOTHER QUESTION” 

Growled monomoa loudly

“What’s your favorite color?”

“Blue” 

Shinso chuckled

“That was a little too obvious … hrmm” 

He took a moment to think

“Tell me what your greatest secret is” 

Once again there was a moment of silence

“I have a crush on… I have a crush on”

You felt your ear tickle 

This was perfect material for gossip

Monomoa made an unintelligible noise 

Followed by a sigh

“Kendo” 

You quietly sighed 

You owed that frog girl in class 1a money now 

“Next question” came monomoas flustered response

“You’re taking this mental training really serious huh?” 

“Yes!” shouted the blonde 

“Sheesh don’t scream at me ok … fine” 

Your heard the splashing of water 

“Ah I got it” shinsou chuckled

“How did it feel to be beaten by that creepy girl from class 1a”

Silence

By this point you had crawled out of the spring and pressed your ear against the wall 

You needed to hear everything

“It’s …. Its” you could feel him struggling

Followed by a soft thud

You couldn’t see it but shinso was raising an eyebrow

“Did you just actually resist that man must have hit a nerve”

“You did” blurted out the other 

“Still got the fucking scar” 

Shinso sighed

“I wanna keep going” 

“Suit yourself” 

The guys went on for a while 

Making you wish you had a notepad at all the juicy details of monomoas psyche and secrets while giving you serious mental cinema hearing shinzous absurdly funny commands as to what the other should do if he were to fail to resist

Eventually however the tides quieted down 

And the two were seemingly exhausted 

Monomoa who had spent about 30 seconds under water was gasping for air

And suddenly their conversation became more personal

“You did better than I thought you would”

Said Shinzo

You only heard monomoas upset mumbling

“Tell you what” 

You could feel shinsos grin 

“I know a lot of shit about you at the moment let me tell you something I am keeping a secret”

You heard three excited claps 

“Gimmi gimmi gimmi” 

“Dude stop acting like a child” 

The clapping stopped

“There is this girl in my class”

You grinned

Who could the lucky girl be?

“Her quirk is kinda good but purely support so i guess that why she couldn’t get into the hero courses”

You blinked

“Her quirk is adorable she can turn hard surfaces soft meaning she can turn the hardest rock into the softest pillow”

You blushed 

He was talking about you

“She is really adorable”

He sighed

“I don’t talk to her much of course guess she is afraid of my quirk” 

You weren’t but you also weren’t good with boys 

They made you immediately flustered just looking at them

“I’d like to date her … get to know her… who knows might lead to something nice” 

Monomoa chuckled

“What?”

“Nothing juuuust something I know you don’t know” 

“Say it” he was getting on shinsos nerves 

“Nope”

Shinsou sighed and you rolled on your back

Propping yourself up against the wall 

A boy 

A pretty and mysterious one at that 

Was interested in you

Your face heated up 

Why were your legs quivering with excitement? 

A cold breeze suddenly made itself known 

Giving you the option to either retread into the warm water 

You decided to leave the hot spring 

After you were nicely dry 

You took careful steps into the dark hallways of the building

And just as you round a corner

Boomf

Something semi solid made you fall on the ground

“Wow there you alright?” 

Your cheeks turned a fiery red 

It was Shinzo 

Seems like running into him didn’t face him at all 

He immediately kneeled down next to you

“Are you hurt?” 

His hot breath was hitting your still damp skin

“y.yeah” 

Jeez stop blushing

“Here let me help you”

Shinzo held his hand out to you and you graciously took it 

Once you were back on your feet 

He rubbed the back of his head

A light pink dusting his cheeks

“So what are you doing here?”

You looked at the ground 

“My parents own this place” 

His eyes lit up

As he realized that this must have been the thing monomoa was keeping from him

You bit your lower lip 

Why was this so awkward?

It was as if knowing he had a crush on you 

Made you realize just how handsome he was 

Both of you looked away from each other

Baring glances from time to time at each other 

“Heyyy” he suddenly spoke up

“y.yeah” 

He took a deep breath

“Wanna go for some food tomorrow?”

You audibly gulped

“So like a date” 

For a moment his face turned soft 

Before returning to its mysterious stoic grimace

“Yes”
