Okay, to preface this -- this thread is to discuss Lamplighter's tragic death and the ramifications we can expect to see as a result from it. As well as to console each other in this difficult time.

This is not a Heartless hate thread. Those are located Here, Here, Here, and Here.

Let's try to keep things calm and civil, okay? The mods are overworked as it is, and we do not need to be adding more to that, capisce?

Now, onto the main topic for today's thread: Lamplighter.

Lamplighter was a powerhouse amongst the Seven. He joined the Seven in the year 2009 and in the ten years he was with them the amount of good he did for the world is almost indescribable. He has hundreds of high profile arrests, destroying entire gangs, and busting massive crime rings ranging from drugs, guns, to people. Lamplighter put more criminals in jail than A-Train and The Deep put together.

It is nothing less than a tragedy for the world that he was taken from us so soon.

I won't be posting the video depicting his death, but I will say that no one deserves to die like that but Lamplighter especially didn't.

We all mourn his loss. However, now we must face the question of what happens next?

I can't believe he's dead. As in I literally can't believe it. The video has to be a fake or something. It wouldn't be the first time he faked his death to infiltrate a major gang. He did it on Lamplighter: Crimson Crusader.

You get older and you tend to outgrow your heroes. I used to be obsessed with Homelander and Black Noir, but when I left high school, I lost that passion. I never lost it for Lamplighter, though, because he was what a hero was supposed to be. He died on the front lines in the face of a new threat. He was braver than anyone of us.

He will be missed. 🙏

Replied on July 26, 2019:

@WetWillie We can hope, but that's a movie. Sure, it's based on what he did, but when he faked his death that time, we only knew when the movie came out. Now we can look back at the gap in his appearances to see when it took place, but… they didn't announce it.

I think this is real. Lamplighter died a hero, but he died all the same.

Mr. HairBrain

Replied on July 26, 2019:

Of course, hearts and prayers for Lamplighter and his family.

Has Vought said anything? Or anyone said anything? I'm freaking out here. Lamplighter might not be A-Train or Homelander, but he was one of the greatest heroes in the world. I want answers about how this could have happened in the first place.

@Tofu Preach.

I want to know why Homelander stood there like a fucking bellend. He didn't even try to do anything.

TerrorGasm10

@Chuckie_Duck Homolander didn’t want to fuck up his manicure. Poor Supernova was stuck with only the caped bitch and roman candle for backup. Hot stuff definitely could have taken down that Heartless cuck with better backup. Or just crushed him with that ridonculous booty.

BunnyBoy69

@Terrorgasm10 ridonculous? Have you seen Mirko? Supernova has some junk in the trunk but our bubble booty bunny babe is smuggling bowling balls in those cheeks.

Hommie#1

Replied on July 26, 2019:

@Chuckle_Duck Don't be a prick. Homelander was in shock. I would be too if my best friend was burnt alive in front of me.

Homelander is super powerful, but he's also a man. With feelings.

And I don't see you talking shit about Supernova.

@Mr. HairBrain Vought has just released a notice for a press release regarding Lamplighter's murder. I wouldn't expect too much, though. I'm betting they're reeling like the rest of us.

I just feel empty inside. Like completely hollowed out. I grew up with Lamplighter. He was my hero since I was a kid and now I'm a grown ass man and he was still my hero.

And he's dead. I've called off work and I'm just going to rewatch his movies and TV series.

FUCK man. Why do the good ones always go first?

Chuckle_Duck

Replied on July 26, 2019:

@Hommie#1 oh, boy, here comes the Homelander fanboy, making excuses for the guy that has literally all of the superpowers under the sun. Homelander could have flown to the ocean for a cup of water, flown back to douse him with it, and made enough return trips that Lamplighter wouldn’t have felt so much as a singe.

But no. He fucking stood there as one of the greatest heroes in the world burned alive in horrific agony.

Supernova? She's a rookie. She's been on the job for like a month. She's the one that gets the excuse of being in shock.

SpankNBank

@Chuckie_Duck a rookie? You seen that body? Bet she has loads of experience if you catch my drift. Girl is hot in all the best ways. Plus she puts out if what the rumors say is true. Hell, Homelander and Lamplighter were probably tag teaming that bitch before that bank heist, why else would they all show up together. RIP Lampchad banging your way to the grave.

I can't believe that this is happening. When I woke up this morning, I never expected that one of the Seven would be murdered even in my wildest nightmares.

It's a tragedy and my heart breaks, but this makes one thing clear -- something has to change. Too long the police have been content to hide behind Supe capes, letting the heroes out themselves in danger. The police need to step up and start actually helping our heroes instead of standing around to look pretty.

Charlie Nightman

Replied on July 26, 2019:

@Chuckle_Duck Exactly why it's so obviously fake. The greatest most powerful hero in the world just stood and watched his friend die

I bet Heartless is actually a rookie hero they have working undercover as a dupervillain, so they had him 'kill' Lamplighter to sell it and free up Lamplighters time for something.

Hopefully it's not too serious though cuz they made it really obvious like Lamplighter the guy whos whole thing is FIRE burning to death while Homelander just watched and did nothing? Get real

Johnny Metalhead

Replied on July 26, 2019:

@Charlie Nightman Dude thats stupid, and you pretty much say it yourself why.

The heroes know what they're doing - if they wanted to fake Lamplighters death for something serious they wouldn't have fucked it up and if it's not serious they wouldn't have made it so gory.

Lamplighters dead. For real. Don't give people false hope with a bullshit conspiracy theory.

RedDeadReDONKEYDICK

Lamplighter really lived up to his name in the end. Just think of all the lamps they could have lit with that big ass fireball he turned into.

My heart breaks for Lamplighter -- Heaven gained another angle.

I am curious about what is going to happen next, though. There's already a lot of threads about who's going to replace Lamplighter in the Seven. Which is a little fucked in my opinion. But I think a lot of us are asking ourselves what happens next?

There's an actual supervillain in the world. A supe that went bad. It's impossible to just ignore that, even if Homelander captures him right now because if it happened once, then it could happen again.

So… what's going to happen?

Verbatim

Replied on July 26, 2019:

@RedDeadReDONKEYDICK Look at the edge lord, everybody. You see how edgy and cool he is coming into a thread about Lamplighter and trash talking a dead hero?

Just a thought -- Lamplighter's death got international attention. You have to leech off of that for a drop of attention like a parasite. I'd blame your parents, but I honestly can't blame them. I wouldn't love you either.

Shindeiru

Replied on July 26, 2019:

I'd like to buy into the idea that this is a fake out, but I think it's too excessive for one. It's just so… much, you know?

Anyway, I think there's gotta be some huge reforms coming to law enforcement and how supes are monitored. There has to be. Looking at the statistics: Here, Vought supes make up about 10% of all major busts. Major as in numerous arrests, $100,000+ in value to illicit goods, and major arrests to organized crime. 10% might not sound like a lot on paper, but given how most arrests are for public intoxication or drug charges and there are like 700,000 cops in America against the 300 under Vought.

I don't really know how supes are monitored, but they have to be, right? Maybe they already know who Heartless is. Or maybe he got human trafficked because I imagine a Super baby would sell for a lot more than a normal baby.

RedDeadReDONKEYDICK

I know Vought has been pushing hard to get into the military (I am so sick of those commercials) but I think pushing into law enforcement makes more sense. When God blessed America with Supes for our actions in WWII, Supes were tacked on to the pre-existing structure of law enforcement.

@Shindeiru is right. Looking at the statistics, Vought does most of the heavy lifting in America. Rather than Supes being there to help the police, I think the police should be there to help the Supes.

Dark’n’Darker

This thread is an absolute mess. But, it does make a few good points. I think we'll need to wait for a full statement, but I'm in the camp of there needs to be a police reform. The cops were literally useless here.

Supes need to be in control of law enforcement. It just makes sense at this point.

Vought put out the press release and it shed some light on the situation. Here is the Link to the press release, and Here is a thread that discusses it in more detail.

For the sake of this thread, here are the cliff notes: Lamplighter has been investigating Heartless for some time and expected an ambush, which is why he brought Homelander and Supernova as back up.

The tragedy being that he didn't know that Heartless was a supe and he splashed napalm onto Lamplighter while Homelander and Supernova were held in place by his power. They don't outright say it, but they allude to the fact that Heartless was there for Lamplighter.

What they did outright say was this: Heartless is the world's first Supervillain and Vought wants blood.

They also announced the LAMP initiative. Vought will be making strides to fully incorporate Supes into the police, FBI, and even the CIA in addition to sponsoring lesser known capes for safety reasons to ensure that another Heartless doesn't appear.

They seriously called it Lamp, huh? Well, cool acronym is cool acronym.

The initiative does have the popular vote based on independent surveys and online polls. But, it's also getting some pushback from the Senate that wants nothing to do with supes. This group is being spearheaded by Victoria Neuman. Interestingly enough, it's an issue that's stretching across party lines.

Immediate Murder Professional

@DelightFromDownTheLane He was a supe. Of course he was fucking. Supernova confirmed to be Lamplighter's daughter /s.

He might be or he might not be. He could have just been her mentor or something. Still, no matter what, it's gotta suck seeing that. She's a fairly new hero in New York. She has a thread: Here (Be warned, it's a degen thread).

If I was her, I'd be rethinking my career path.

The O is silent

Replied on July 27, 2019:

@Immediate Murder Professional Of course it would be Neuman. I swear, this is reverse sexism -- if it was a guy saying half the stupid shit that she was spouting about supes, they'd have tossed him out on his ass before the end of his first term. But no, have a set of tits and not be ugly, and you can say all kinds of dumb stuff.

People want Supes in law enforcement. And in the military. Every time she pulls this kind of bullshit, people die. She should be brought up on charges.

There's officially a new hero in the city of New York. Introducing: Supernova!

Here is a Link to her debut bust, but for those of you that can't be bothered to read, the TLDR; Supernova investigated and busted a protection racket in Queens, New York. There have been fifteen arrests, all with connections to the Falcon mafia.

As of now, not much is currently known about her powers but it seemed to be fire related, as seen Here.

So, let's do what we do best!

Topic: Future Industries and Asami Sato

In: ►Tech Development Boards ► The Future is Now, Old Man ► CEO Asami Sato bringing tomorrow to today

Mr.Finance (Original Poster)

(Not an actual finance consultant)

Posted on May 1, 2019:

I made a post about this over in the Finance boards: Here, but I feel like it’s worth reporting here in the Tech boards because it’s some really interesting stuff.

Future Industries, led by CEO Asami Sato, is a really interesting find. I’ll get more into Asami down below, but the company itself was officially founded on April, 29 and it came out the gate swinging. In recent years, Amazon has been paving the way when it comes to commercializing drone technology but they aren’t the one that’s perfected it. That would be Future Industries’ Heavy Lifter series: Link, Link, Link.

The tldr for the drones; More than a hundred times the lift capability with half of the size of Amazon’s best drone. As seen in the links above, one of them can lift a refrigerator -- absolutely crushing Amazon’s five-pound limit so badly it's not even funny.

FI is leaning hard into the shipping side of things, but they’re also looking to produce the drones as well for commercial business. No word on contracts yet, but given the technology is a massive improvement in every way over the leading competitors, I imagine that's going to change shortly.

Additionally, given the nature of the technology, allow me some speculation -- the shipping industry has been stuck on roads or rivers since the dawn of time. With the Heavy Lifter series, that can change because the skies have opened up. Doing the math, since each drone has a 250 pound limit, with as little as two drones, you can transport a commercial pallet of produce across America.

As for Asami Sato herself -- I think we’re seeing the birth of fem!Elon Musk. She’s a certified genius that tested out of high school and graduated college at the age of 17. She’s gone on record (Here, Here, Here) that the heavy lifter series is the start and shortly, she will be launching a series of products that will be blowing their competition out of the water. Given what she’s already released, I fully believe her.

Now, for the important bit -- Future Industries has been evaluated at $1.33 a share at the moment. That’s bullshit, because the company is worth a whole lot more. Amazon has paved the way for drone usage, so no laws need a valuation, and the fucks in the FCC can’t see the future. I promise you this, by next quarter, if FI isn’t worth at least 10.50 a share, I’ll eat my hat.

Checked out the videos, and I’m not sure how that shit can be legal. Shouldn’t be classified as an aircraft instead of a drone?

One thing that stood out to me, though -- those things are quiet. I own a drone for photography (Wedding photographer) and it makes so much noise that you can’t help to hear it because of the high pitched whine. The heavy series is louder, but it… lower? I feel like the sound can get lost in a busy setting pretty easily.

Kaintankerous

Replied on May 1, 2019:

You again, huh? I figured you would have bought some #ROPE

As for the company itself -- I will admit that it looks interesting, but it’ll only last until a fridge drops on someone. And your point about produce pallets is pretty stupid. Not only would 500 pounds be a half pallet at best, it would need stuff like temperature control.

In short -- neat idea, but you’re overhyping it for a pump and dump. There is nothing that the FI is doing that other companies aren’t already doing or is one lawsuit away from being run into the dirt.

Petrichor

Replied on May 1, 2019:

@ DaddylikeyDummy Yes. The CEO of a company has an OF.

Given the OP’s history, I have some serious reservations about believing anything that he has to say about anything, but the research does check out. Future Industries seems to be putting out better versions of everything that on the market already -- and not just a little better. A lot better. Sticking with the drone example, Amazon has a limitation of like 5 pounds for packages and it’s super expensive.

FI can transport 500 and it’s cheaper than normal shipping. That’s a massive leap in improvement for a service.

For those that are too stupid to understand basic math -- Asami Sato just slapped her fat dick on the table and told Amazon to break out the ruler.

DaddylikeyDummy

If Asami is smart, and she seems to be, she’ll hold out until Amazon sends her a fat check and sell the company to them. All this talk about FI muscling in on Amazon is straight copium.

Blue Ribbon

Replied on May 1, 2019:

@ TB TAM Probably. Corporate overlords are going to overlord, but if they buy out the tech, I imagine they’re going to use it. They’ll charge a premium, sure, but I’ve already accepted that. So, so long as it’s more convenient then whatever.

To celebrate a near 2000% increase in the stock, she has listed out a number of products that I’m sure you tech heads are going to find interesting. They are as follows.

Electric Car: Link

Self-Driving Electric Car: Link (And this one doesn’t have a taste for the blood of young children)

Laptop: Link

Game console: Link

Phone: Link

Computer chips: Link

Motherboard: Link

Graphics card: Link

Drones: Link

And in less tech-related news, she’s released Future Streaming as an online platform for movies, tv shows, and games -- effectively spitting in the eyes of Netflix and Twitch at the same time.

Who bag holding now?

I suppose even a blind squirrel will find a nut eventually. And, I will admit, you found a fat fucking nut.

The drone series is the most interesting of the lot, interestingly enough. The Heavy Lifter series is seeing some naked improvements already. They’re smaller and can lift up to 350 pounds? With 8 of them, you could lift a small car.

The rest, the specs look amazing, but I am a little leery of the promise of compatibility for Microsoft and Linux products. That’s some serious coding wizardry.

Just put in my order for the laptop. One thing that I think that OP forgot to mention is that Future Industries is a green company. Not only are they committed to recycling, but they have a mandate of no pollution. So everything is recycled. They actually did a factory tour a week ago, and it was fascinating.

I’m so fucking glad that a Gen S is finally in a position to unfuck what the Boomers are doing to the planet.

On another note, I’m glad gen V is finally getting some real power. Buying stuff from places like Amazon, or Apple just didn’t feel good, you know? I think we may have to wait and see if Asami is really dedicated to the whole green energy stuff, fair labor wages, and so on. But, I’m crossing my fingers and I have some hope.

The boomers are trying to kill the world but gen V might be able to pull it back from the brink.

A new hero has been sighted in LA and, boyz… I don’t think there’s ever been a more perfect woman. Feast your eyes on Mirko!

Do your eyes deceive you? No. No they do not. She’s a bunny girl. A chocolate bunny girl. I don’t know which one of you sold your soul to the devil for such a bounty, but you have my heartfelt respect. I and my fellow degens salute you and your most noble sacrifice.

As of yet, she doesn’t have a huge bust (heh) but in the past couple of days, she’s proven to be extremely active. She’s made a total of thirteen arrests and all were caught in the middle of committing the crime, so jail time is practically guaranteed. She’s also been seen patrolling the rougher neighborhoods, so I imagine that number will continue to rise.

Her power -- I shit you not -- seems to revolve around her glorious thunder thighs. She’s fast like a rabbit, capable of leaping down entire blocks. It’s a power that is ∞% worth all the property damage that using her power causes, tbh.

Posted on July 27, 2019:

Okay. Let's get this out of the way -- Heartless is a piece of shit. He’s a murderer. He set Lamplighter on fire and laughed about it. The guy is capital E, EVUL. No one is going to dispute that. However, that is not the purpose of this thread. There are literally dozens of Heartless hate threads, so if you want to hate on him, then feel free to do it there.

This thread is so people can keep up with the latest news about Heartless and what he is doing. So, please keep the discussion limited to that.

And, preemptively, the mods have put the thread into a first-strike rule. So, break the rules once, and you’re banned.

With that out of the way, let us cover what we know. Keep in mind, all of this has been established based on testimonies from those involved. On July 12, a bank was robbed by a handful of men that were believed to be connected to the Russian mafia. They took hostages, securing the bank while a small team went downstairs to crack open the vault.

Supernova arrived on the scene first, disabling several bank robbers and freeing most of the hostages. Soon after, Lamplighter and Homelander arrive. There was a slight delay, but it was around this time that Heartless revealed himself. Based on Supernova and Homelander reports, Lamplighter informed them that Heartless was a cape and extremely dangerous. Before he could share more, however, Heartless detonated a bomb.

This was done with Heartless’ power, but we will get to that in a second.

From there, we more or less saw what happened. Heartless used his power to set Lamplighter on fire while immobilizing both Homelander and Supernova. With Lamplighter dead, Heartless escaped the bank with the money.

A tragedy all around.

Now, to speculate -- Heartless’ power seems to be some kind of matter manipulation. At this time, it is unclear if he is turning an item into something else, or if he is switching their locations with something he brought. The vault camera displayed Heartless appearing in the vault during the explosion, taking the place with a bundle of bills, before switching back and rubble appearing when he left. So, it seems safe to say that one facet of Heartless’ power revolves around teleportation.

For fire manipulation and freezing others in place -- that I’m less certain about, mostly because I don’t like the implication. Fire manipulation could be explained by manipulating air currents to control where the fire spreads. For keeping people in place, I got nothing. At least, nothing without reaching.

For more speculation, I have a guy on the streets that keeps an ear on them for me. And, recently, I’ve heard a great deal about a shaker. Most people believed it was the Kingpin -- a notorious and anonymous drug lord in America -- but, lately, there have been rumors that Kingpin has been killed. How true these rumors are, it’s impossible to tell. However, what I have heard from several sources is that several longstanding gang rivalries have seemingly ended out of now where.

I am talking about Bloods working with Crips, people.

So, adding things together… Heartless could be this new Shaker to the criminal underworld. Meaning that he could have powerful gangs under his command. Which is a scary thought.

As for his intentions… that’s pure guesswork at the moment. We know that he was there to target Lamplighter, but we also don’t know his larger plans. And that’s what I’m hoping to shed some light on with this thread.

I’m sure everyone has heard, but Heartless attacked the Lamplighter memorial. This incident was broadly recorded thanks to all of the cameras, but it can be broken down into a couple of points:

Heartless arrival

Hearless hates modern cinema

Heartless rigged the entire building to blow

Heartless taking Stan Edgar, Asami Sato, and Victoria Neuman hostage

Heartless claims to not have murdered Lamplighter. Claims that Vought killed him.

Mirko arrival.

A-Train blows himself up

The first Supe fight seen outside of the movies.

Homelander catches Heartless, but apparently Heartless has no organs?

Building explodes

Homelander saves everyone.

My take on the most important point -- I don’t know man. Heartless threw down a huge accusation at Vought. Now, normally, when a murderer says that they didn’t do it, it’s usally on their way to prison when the consequences to their actions have caught up to them. Heartless showed up at the memorial to call out Vought… That’s… I don’t really know.

I’m not sure if I believe him exactly, but I do think that there’s something weird going on with Lamplighter’s death. Simply because I can’t possibly see what Heartless could hope to gain by doing this.

@ DJVox People believe it because Lamplighter's death is really weird and Heartless gained literally nothing by doing this.

To note: he exposed how his powers work.

He risked getting his ass kicked by every member of the Seven.

He risked being incarcerated if not killed.

Why would he do something like that unless he's telling the truth? Vought is trying to dump Lamplighter's death at his feet and he's telling everyone that he doesn't want him. Vought is a corporation that's been sucking the money out of the population for years now. They have a lot more reasons to lie than Heartless.

Really makes you wonder who the real villain is. 🤔

►Heligoland

Replied on July 27, 2019:

@ Gnomeo Nope. This whole thing is a massive black eye for the Seven.

Homelander was kept out of the fight -- I can't blame him for that.

A-Train? What a fucking joke.

The Deep? Went down to an arrow to the shoulder -- might not be that bad, but it is a real bad look when Mirko ripped hers out of the socket to kick more ass.

Black Noir and Queen Maeve got manhandled like they were a couple of kids. We didn't see Translucent, probably because he was trying to rescue the hostages.

Supernova ended up friendly firing -- a pretty big fuck up, honestly. Especially when she knew how his power worked.

The only ones that did anything was Mirko and Homelander. I agree with @ Honourabley, Mirko is an absolute unit. Homelander saved the day when the building exploded. If he hadn't saved everyone, we'd be talking about how the Seven died. He's the world's greatest hero for good reason and it's not just because of his powers.

Heartless isn't working alone, either. Here are some frames that 4-Chan managed to capture: here, here, and here.

All eyes are on Heartless, but Handsy was with Heartless since the start. We can see her priming the bombs and reactivating them. Combine that with the little display -- we know that she can make arms appear from biological and inorganic materials. She also seems to have fine control and awareness of what each arm is doing.

That's a really strong power. Might not be as overt as laser vision, but there is literally nothing stopping her from projecting an arm from your back and snapping your neck like it's nothing.

I always thought that Neumann was a stuck up bitch, but she gets huge props from me for this. And now all of her arguments are holding a lot more water now. same with Asami Sato. Not just a pretty face and a big brain.

It made do for some light reading, Butcher decided, closing the laptop. Being the mask of online anonymity, people tended to say what they thought without much in the way of a filter. Naturally, it made the sample size contaminated because they were all idiots, but still, very useful for getting an idea of what people felt. And the people felt unsafe.

"I don't believe Raynor signed off on this shit, man," Good 'ol MM remarked as they were in an abandoned Chuck E Cheese. Way out of the way, all the way down in Virginia, of all places. Nothing but red necks and crack fiends as far as Butcher could tell. Perfect for their needs.

"You'd be mighty surprised what Raynor's willing to let go so long as the job gets done," Butcher lied. Raynor didn't know. Actually, he and his Boys were tasked with finding a certain someone. A certain someone that was currently duck taped to a chair with some rather painful bits attached to his knob. Which were hooked up to a car battery.

"She's fine with torturing Translucent?" MM questioned, leveling a look at him that told Butcher that he didn't buy it. Too clever for his own good and sharp instincts. Frenchie was rigging up the next round of enhanced interrogation -- information was good, and useable. But, if Butcher was being honest with himself -- he just loved listening to Translucent screaming.

Butcher tossed a disarming smile at him, "Mate, she's the bleeding Deputy Director of the bleedin' CIA. Guantanamo bay? Ever heard of it?"

MM's lips thinned but he threw up his hands, dropping the argument, but he wasn't happy about it. Good. The mission that Raynor had given them was to investigate where Translucent was because, as far as she had been told, Translucent was in a deep cover mission within the Eight. A name that Butcher got through Frenchie's contacts -- the name of Heartless' gang. Raynor smelled bullshit immediately, especially when Vought wasn't giving her any intel that would suggest a deep cover agent.

All it would take was a little twisting of the truth. He and the Boys would be very diligent in their investigation. They tracked him all the way here, in the middle of bumfuck nowhere, discovering his corpse and the fact that he was tortured for information. He'd tell Raynor that Vought didn't want to admit to losing another one of their precious supes, and that would be that. In the meantime, he got to learn some very interesting things.

"All good Frenchie?" Butcher questioned, making the coked out Frenchman Bob his head as he smiled ear to ear.

"Better than good. It shall be set," Frenchie swore while Butcher smiled as he grabbed the voice modulator. Putting it on to disguise his voice, he stepped into the ball pit that was covered in aluminum foil. A tip from Raynor on how one would deal with those pesky micro chips.

Translucent had seen better days. He was strapped to a chair, in a puddle of his own piss, some jumper cables attached to his Johnson -- his skin was tight, very tough, but that didn't make it any less painful. The man himself looked haggard -- dark bags under his eyes, his hair greasy and a mess, a short beard clinging to his jawline. He started trembling the moment that Butcher turned on the camera, pointing it at Translucent. As he always did, he tried to muster up some dignity, but it was under cut when his bottom lip started to quiver.

"Now," Butcher began, picking up the controller to the battery that would give him a bit of encouragement when he struggled to find his words. "Where did we leave off? Ah, it was the bit where you like watching women sleep so you can jack off above them, right?" He questioned, getting it all on video.

Translucent's head lowered. "Y… yeah…" he admitted.

He was almost thankful for Heartless in a weird way. It wouldn't have happened with out 'em.

All the same, the moment Butcher got a clear shot?

He'd take it.

Bud

Enjoyed the alternative perspective, but felt there was way too much filler in the chapter. You could of cut out 80% of the online chat dialogue and still gotten the same result. Nice to see abit of change up with the Boys interrogating translucent though, aswell as them doing some OPSEC with the voice modulator.
