So, I'm finally back from my break from writing for a week and now that's its over, I realized just how burnt out I was. Now that my batteries are recharged, I'm pumping words out.

Which brings me to this announcement. I've done some thinking over the past week about how I do things and how I could further refine the creative process. There are going to be a couple of polls throughout the month to get some feedback from all of you to see what you would most prefer, but I've decided on some changes already.

- Regular vacation time. And when I say regular, I mean about every three months or so. Usually from a Friday to Friday, so all stories would be paused for that week.

-  More snippets. I know this sounds counterproductive, but writing something new can help me get in the zone for writing, which translates to my other stories. So, I'll be posting a snippet thread on SB, SV, and QQ with a bunch of ideas that I've had over time.

Might do something with this idea like once I have a large enough variety of snippets, I'll post polls on which one gets the next chapter. And, eventually, when I complete a story, the story with the most snippets/votes becomes a full story.

There could be more changes coming, but I'll wait until I get your feedback before committing to them.

The vacations sound like a good idea

I'd be excited to read the snippets as well

Sounds good man, do whatever you gotta do to keep from burning out.

As long as you keep up with the previous speed of 2-3 chapters a week, I don't see anything wrong with it.

Taking regular off time to keep yourself fully charged sounds fine mate. As everyone needs some off time, it's why we got weekends after all.

Snippets are always fun, and sometimes spin themselves into full on stories anyway. The only thing I'd say is that is something feels like it's almost writing itself then just run with that feeling until you lose it. The best nuggets often come from those sorts of word flurries.

I think this is a very good idea, and I'm glad you aren't feeling as burnt out.

Glad to have you back. I hope you had a good vacation. Sounds like a good idea. I'm interested to find out what else you've come up with in the future.

I'd rather you take a one week leave every month. I'd rather you don't get burnt out. Keeping yourself healthy both in mind and body.
