So, after a couple of months, I've finally realized that there are a lot easier ways to deliver rewards, get your input and overall make things a little more streamlined. Because, to be honest, I feel like I've been failing on my end in terms of delivering rewards that are promised. There haven't been that many polls so you could use your votes, the snippets that I promised to deliver are on pause since the websites that I used to collect your votes don't work the way I thought they did and so on.

Basically, this post is going to highlight ways I think will make things better in addition to make a promise that I will be delivering in full.

First change: No third party websites for polls. All polls will be done on this site. For higher tier paterons with gold votes, they will get an exclusive poll on major story decisions. They will also have a private platform to discuss the merits of the choice with me.

Additionally, no real changes are being made to lower-tier paterons. Each tier will have its own poll, and I will simply add the total up at the end of the month.

Second change: Starting next month, possibly earlier, from tier two paterons and up will have access to a chapter two weeks early before its public release. So, for five dollars or more, not only will you get the outcome to a cliffhanger but you can get left on another one!

Third change: Additional awards are going to be added to second-tier and up paterons. They include the following: early access to the prompt. Early access to the first chapters of new stories I write.

Tiers two, three and four will also have guaranteed suggestions in the monthly writing prompt.

Most of these changes will be implemented by the end of the week.

If you have any questions or concerns, then please shoot me a message and I'll do my best to answer.

Hmm... while it's somewhat traditional for the different tiers giving different access, they usually come in a better deal. I can only speak from what I've seen of the more successful stories on Royal Road, but they usually offer around a months worth of lead time, which seems to be pretty standard across the board, sometimes a little more, sometimes a little less, but around that ballpark. Using Defiance of Fall, Azarinth Healer, Delve and He who Fights with Monsters as guides. Others use... quite a bit more (Ghosthound for example. Chapter 1047 publically, Patreon is at... 1223.)

At the moment, two chapters ahead is the bare minimum I am with all of the stories I'm currently writing along with another two that are being worked on at the moment. So, that could go up eventually. However, something I would like to point out, all of the examples that you gave the chapter count was around 3000 words a chapter while my average word count is somewhere around 7000, though many chapters frequently go over 10000. So, I think its a fair trade-off.
