Hello everyone!

The SFX/Ambiences part of our Adventure Theme is here! We named it Stranger Strings (as a joke related to the "strings" section of an orchestra).

This is a 'modern/contemporary' pack. However, many elements can also be used in other contexts. It's especially the case for the 'Approaching Darkness' and 'Shadow Over Us' ambiences, which are dark sounding atmosphere you can play over other ambiences/tracks.

Filip will share his part of the theme today, as always.

Ambiences

  • Approaching Darkness
  • Shadow Over Us
  • Creepy Factory
  • Shadow Over The City
  • Creepy Neighborhood

SFX

  • Bycicle Levitation
  • Telekinesis on Car
  • Telekinesis on Glass
  • The Whole Town Torn Apart
  • Brain Scan Gone Wrong

Hey Michael, thanks for the cool stuff! I have two little pieces of feedback for you an Filip to consider: 1. The ambiences are missing from the zip file! 2. I think these SFX are really cool, but most of them are *so* specific to a certain event I have a hard time knowing how I would ever use them. One of the effects in particularly "That Creature from your Tabletop Game" is actually a really good reusable "monster roar" sound effect, but because its categorization and filename is a bit too clever, if I'm ever browsing the library looking for monster sounds I'm unlikely to find this one.

Hey Atropos, Thanks a lot for the feedback. I corrected the zip and I sent your message to Pierrick. You are 100% correct and we will take that into account for next month.

I really dig "Shadow Over Us". Even though it's 'modern' I think it can fit well for some fantasy scenarios...drow/duerger location or a hellish planar location come to mind.
