Greetings everyone!

My apologies for not being able to share new songs with you earlier this month. I'm in the middle of composing our new 1 hour album, aside from working on new songs for patreon. Next month, we are back at our usual weekly release schedule.

------

The Edge Of Pharnavalan City is a 4 track steampunk compilation. This time I wanted to avoid using those typical steampunk musical tropes and movements like clockworks, punctual string movements, synchronized rhythms, in order to create something new. So what we have here is an adventure-steampunk, sort of subdued, Ghibli universe inspired songs. Quite a mouthful description, I know. But as usual, I also had this story in mind. It's not finished, or have a clear concept, nor a beginning...nor the end. It's just a series of events and characters I had in mind while writing these songs. So if some of you incredible DM's and GM's in our community can use and make something more out of this story, feel free to develop it further and use it in your campaigns!

''An old man, retired merchant, lived on the edge of this great city called Pharnavalan. The city was a technological marvel, in every aspect, run by the machines. The old man had a strong disapproval of technology, the city's people and lived his entire life alone on a farm, on the edge of the city, far away from scrap, metal and steam. He was lonely, never had a family of his own, but also never found enough strength and bravery to leave the city and travel again. His only friends were farm animals, the windmill and his old caravan wagon. One day, someone left a basket with a baby boy robot on his doorstep...(it's a fantasy...just roll with it). Merchant tried finding the boys parents, but without any luck. So he decided to raise a boy like his own. Many years after the boy became a man, he took over his fathers legacy of nurturing the farm. One day, the boy discovered his father's wagon, at least what's left of it, and decided to fix it. The old merchant didn't support his decision in the beginning, but after some time he found joy in fixing the wagon with his son. His plan was to take the wagon outside the city, once the repairs are done. But this time together with his son, in search for new adventures. Alas, once they finished, the old man died. So his son decided to burry the father next to their fountain, where old men used to spend most of his time. After that, the son left the farm, become a merchant like his father and started traveling around the world. Keeping his fathers legacy alive.''
