''My grandfather was an inventor with the most brilliant mind. Most of our city's architectural marvels were built by him, or at least their designs were based on his incredible ideas. He was a kind but a silent man, always trapped by the four walls of his workshop, creating new wonders, making our life better. There were times when when we didn't see him leave outside his office for days. We could only hear thumping and curious mechanical sounds. On the rarest of occasions grandpa would come downstairs and made the most beautiful tea for him and myself. After drinking the tea he would pat me on my had and say ''Well, time to build the future, see you around, my little flower'' . My mother always said that her mind would be at ease if she could at least bring him food upstairs, while he works, but to the rest of the family entering the workshop was strictly forbidden. No one in the family knows this, but I tried to enter inside many times while he was away. With no luck, whatsoever. Doors had an eight-lock combination pad with the strangest keyhole I've ever seen. Many years later, after my grandfather was gone, those doors would stay locked, with no way of going inside. Mother said we should respect his last wishes and stay away. So, even if the curiosity inside me was burning brighter than fire, I decided that it was probably for the best to put my dreams of entering that workshop to rest. Even after my mother and I decided to move out of grandpa's old house and look for a better accommodations in the city, we would often come back and stay for a few days, to keep the old memory of him alive. It was on that one night when my entire life changed. I woke up to check on my mother, since she was feeling ill for days. And at the end of hall there was a bright light, coming from grandpa's old office. First I thought my eyes were deceived me, but as I walked closer I noticed that the doors were unlocked and entirely open. I felt both fear and excitement at the same time, and I couldn't possibly miss this opportunity, no matter what awaits me inside. While taking a few steps inside I noticed an empty room, with just one light source coming from the strangest looking mirror I have ever seen. There were no tools, desks, books or any other kinds of grandpa's inventions inside. Only this giant mirror, which seemed to almost be alive. Figured since I entered this far, a couple of steps more won't do any harm, right? While walking towards the mirror the light became even stronger, making the room around me slowly disappear. With a small gust of courage I could summon, I closed my eyes and continued walking forward until I could at least touch the glass and finally put my eternal curiosity to rest. After a minute of walking I felt a sudden warm breeze around me so I finally opened my eyes, In disbelief with what was going on around me. There was no mirror in sight, only a large grass field, strange mechanical creatures around, and in the middle, the highest tower of glass I've ever seen. Stunned by this most beautiful curious sight, suddenly, I felt a gentle hand on my shoulder and a calm voice, telling me: ''Let's go, it's time to build the future together, my little flower.''
