Update (Logo, tiers - Actual and historical) (Patreon)

Hello everyone!

Here's an update regarding two elements, the new logo and visual branding, and the tiers.

Logo

You've probably seen it if you are on the discord, but we have a whole new visual branding!

A change was long overdue. The new logo makes a lot of sense.

As you can see, it's a mix between our good ol' Raven (called Astarrys, as you did read on our recent videos!) and the treble clef! You can also see the 'G' from Ghelfi, and it kinda reminds of the "&" from D&D. This fantastic work was made by Agnès Keller. That lovely lady is a dear friend of mine (and also a player in one of my D&D campaigns). She's also a fantastic cosplayer. Why gold and leather ? We thought about so many possibilities. We tried many shades of red, green, blue. We tried black and white, red and white, black and red, etc, etc... and we were always disappointed. At some point, I was speaking about it with my friend Adrian, and he told me "Why not gold and leather?". I thought it was original, and asked why. He told me that gold stands for the outstanding quality and attention put into our work. It also gives a sense of exclusivity and nobility (even though I do my best to share the more I can with those who can't afford to pay).The leather gives that feel of authenticity, reliability and quality. Also I love these colors.

I'm thinking about offering merch featuring the new (and old) logos and graphical identities, probably without my name on it.

Tiers (Actual)

As explained in that post, Filip Melvan joined us and will compose original music for you.

The tiers have changed accordingly, and have also been renamed to fit our new style.

3$ - Guild Members : Renamed "Wanderer"

(NEW) 4 new orchestral songs per month. What used to be a purely support-oriented tier now gets some content in return.

5$ - Adventurer : Renamed "Raven"

(You get the new content from the 3$ tier)

10$ - Guardians : Not renamed, as I like that name very much.

(NEW) 4 additional songs for a total of eight tracks per month. This goes ON TOP of ambiences, of course. Michael does the ambiences, Filip the music. Both are independant.

(Deleted) "Bonus : Free albums". I used to distribute my new ambiences albums to all guardians. Now it's a Paladin thing. However, the new songs far exceeds the value of a few free albums per year.

(Deleted) Credits on new videos. I'm sorry for that, but I had to update my video template each time I was making a new video. Since we are aiming for 5 videos/week, it's simply not sustainable in terms of workload.

15$ - Mage : Renamed "Sage"

(NEW) One "Adventure Theme" per month. What is it ? It's a 30 minutes thematical piece of music. Filip and I will work together to also distribute ambiences and SFX, to make a big thematic pack. Also expect collaborations with other artists on that (Maps, Tokens, etc.)

(NEW) Variations of some tracks : Piano version, subdued, other instruments, looped, etc.

35$ - Paladin : Renamed "Chosen"

(NEW) All new music and ambiences albums for free. Filip will compose at least one full orchestral album on top of his usual compositions. This album won't be released on Patreon, but only on Bandcamp/Spotify, etc... Except if you are a Paladin. You also get my new ambiences albums.

100$ - Deity : Renamed "Awakened"

(NEW) Free orchestral composition : Filip will compose a track based on your needs. The piece will be shared with the other patrons afterwards. Other conditions may apply. You must contact us.

Tiers (Old)

A few among you are still on "historical" tiers, namely the 1$, 2$, 3$ and 5$ tiers, which are not available for new patrons anymore. We strongly encourage you to switch to the new tiers, as they are providing a lot more content for a very small additional investment (1$). We will be deleting these tiers in a month anyway.
