Hello Patrons!

I was working on suggestion by a subscriber on YouTube, "Glass Garden". As it is, it's quite unclear what's expected and how it should sound, but I liked the general idea it evoked in my mind, so I thought about giving it a try.

After a few hours working with the new synthetizers, I was finally creating the sounds I wanted.

I made four ambiences for this pack. One will be on the album, one will be for the ENNIE-victory free pack, and two for you! On top of that, I made two additional SFX, just to cool down a bit after the hours of work this pack required.

Ambiences

  • Glass Garden (Dark)

Will work for many different settings. I sincerely love the evolving synths I used and how they blend and mix together. It could also work for Sci-Fi settings.

I used the sounds of tree leaves falling on the ground, modified, to create the feeling you are in a crystalized garden (think of the Crystalsong Forest in WoW, I let you google it).

  • Glass Garden (Voice)

This ambience is very original. It features the voice of my friend Adrian von Ziegler, who speaks in a language of his own creation. This voice line was already used for my ambience : "Elven Nobles Garden", a year ago. I reworked it to give it a slightly surreal/inhuman feel. It's not eerie though. Those who aren't here for TTRPG reasons might find this ambience quite relaxing as well :)

SFX

  • Crystal Leaves
  • Magic Harp

Two strange and unique SFX which will easily be remembered by your players. The Magic Harp is a recording made by my friend Arianna Ferra Gennari (you may hear about her again in a few days). I modified it and added some effects over it. It could be used by a bard for a very strong/rare spell.

The other one goes well with the theme, it's the crystal leaves, but with magical effects over them, as if something was happening.

Thank you for your support! I'll come back soon with more content ;)

I think the main ambience track also works well for winter/unseelie court, ice queen lair, etc. The addition of the voice on the second one is really well done too. Both of the sound effects are great and I know I'll use them somewhere soon. Great job! :)
