Greetings Patrons!

As I told you previously, the content comes a bit late this month, but it comes!

Big things are moving. I'll make a post about it in a few days, but the boring administrative work was quite overwhelming this month. I kinda wish this patreon was bigger so I could hire someone to do that job and free more time for me to actually do the creative job!

Anyway! Here I am with a new orchestral fantasy piece, inspired by a haunted place in my homebrew setting, called Calcheron.

The story beind the piece

Told the cheesiest way possible

It used to be a beautiful human town, then some curious and anxious mage signed a pact with a malicious entity. He became immortal (yay!) but also he had that weird taste for human blood, preferably sucked in the neck.

He used to do that alone, but then he met a woman who was much more ambitious than him. He gave her the same powers, but she also wanted a castle. And why not a kindgom and some (actually a lot of) minions. Also she was into alchemy and blood magic, and worked with knowledgeable servants to create blood knights (a homebrew class I created and which is very well balanced, according to my players!).

Anyway, some shiny dudes with beautiful hair and a few literate ones with nice books came and killed everyone.

The city is now in ruins. The mage died, his wife surived but fled. I made a song about it. End of the story.

(The full story is 10pages long and not cheesy actually :))

The piece

It's about 5 minutes long. I made two versions, one with the female singer, one without. Since it's not a battle song, I didn't make any loopable version, but it already works quite ok in loops if you really need it.

It comes in .mp3, .ogg and .flac. Delete what you don't need!

I may share another song this month, or two songs next month depending on how fast a client replies! But expect more music soon :)

Best regards,

Michael

I think this piece is excellent. It reminds me of the style of music in the game Fable, which I loved. Nice job Michael! :)

Thanks a lot Rob! I'm really motivated to compose more music these days. Expect more :)
