May be a slightly more detailed attempt to explain what comes to my mind while listening to this great song? Here I go ;-) At the start it reminds me of the Hall of the mountain king with the anvil it gets kind of reminiscent of the mines in the Lord of the Rings (but maybe thats only an image which comes to my eyes and ears ;-). At all it is very symphonic and I do like that! For me a bit abrupt with the change at 1:30, maybe a tad longer break before continuing ? The transition at 2:37 works better for me. The wind instruments from just before 2:00 are soooo great! SUPER! Starting at about 3:09 it becomes very driving and very good! The part - this kind of Harp, or is it one? - at 3:33 i like very much too! Thank you -as always- for giving us such great music!

Oh! I'm very glad you wrote that message, thanks so much for that in-depth appreciation. I'm glad you enjoyed it ! I wasn't inspired by LotR when composing this song, but I definitely get why it made you think about it ! Actually, the "story" of the song is pretty simple : many imps and lesser demons try to work together on a ritual which purpose is to summon a greater demon. They definitely manage to work it out, and the greater demon is unleashed on earth. You are right, from 3 min, it's a harp who does the melody behind (many notes going up and down), but some cellos are playing pizzicatos as well so if you are not used to it, you can easy mistake one for the other!
