After hearing you guys talk about March Comes in Like a Lion last episode I decided to give it a shot and now I'm almost done with it. So far Usagi Drop and March Comes in like a lion have been a great addition to my watch list! :D

Nah, I gotta read the manga with all the people stopping me from doing so xD No spoilers - I don't care if it's dark, sad, disgusting, weird. Can somebody tell me if it's written nicely? That's the only thing I need to enjoy a story.

What happens isn't nearly as bad as people make it out to be, but it's still not great, and the way the mangaka justifies it is kind of sloppy, so no I don't think it's written particularly well.

Do what you want. My warning is because the manga part just ruins a perfectly wholesome story. Only reading the first part/sticking to the anime will save your sanity. If you don't care, go on ahead.

What I like, and what has made me love anime and manga is the fact that most of those stories don't follow the mainstream themes popular in the rest of the world. Many stories tend to have a twist that isn't as wholesome as most people want, but nonetheless make for an interesting story. That's what happened with Usagi Drop's manga. The second half isn't everyone's cup of tea because they believe that if they enjoy a story with themes opposite to their beliefs they are endorsing said themes. I like war movies yet I do not endorse war. Entertainment is entertainment. I do recommend the manga tho.

If you know the difference between reality and entertainment, do read the manga, it's...... different. However, if you believe that by enjoying movies where a murder happens you are actually becoming a murderer and murder is now your identity, do not read the manga.

In movies about murder they don't condone the murder, the manga does condone p3dophilia and grooming. It's pretty obviously different.
