96 - random symbiote sketches + another one (spoiler) (Patreon)

Not me spending +6 hours only on the lineart on this sketch, ha.... ha ..
um...

Actually this is kinda like a study sketch cuz it's almost a full-body piece and boi, I've checked so many irl photos while working on this and it's hard to find the right, helpful references. Still need to check some more for the final adjustments.

So yea, this is a cropped pic from the current project. The full goes down till almost the knee part and the arms are cut off from the pic (and I still need to check how the muscles look like on the arms from the angle I need).
Also I most likely gonna need to make Venom's head smaller here to fit the body's proportions (or simply just edit it 🤔). Atm the head looks so off from the detailed body. I was working on the body first, then moved back to the head later. Hopefully the colours will make the whole figure look like everything's fine and it's not like 2 different parts put together. :I
I had to re-draw Venom's mouth a few times here aswell, maybe my hand got tired of drawing and was not working properly for the job.. or it's just been a while since I've last drawn him. Tried to see how it looks if I add a tongue showing in the pic, but that didn't come out well or/and it was hiding some lines from the lineart which I don't wanna do. So he most likely just gonna be grinning here again.
Then I need to go over the lineart again for the sketchy look too, so that's another stage that can help it look better.

Or I just need some sleep and come back later to this and see it with fresh eyes. Which's what I'm gonna do now.
It was fun to sketch this tho, my hand was possessed again and the lines have came out just right. If all goes well, I'll be showing the finished piece soon. Looks pretty crazy already, not gonna lie.. 😳✨😎

btw, this is the same size I'm seeing the canvas while working on this. Working in small has it's benefits, altho it's tricky when it comes to smaller details and working on facial expressions.
