News: Status update + weekly update coming Wednesday (Patreon)

Hey gang,

So sorry for the lack communication this month. Things have been hectic, but I wanted to get some things out for you before the month is up. 

I'll go into details on Wednesday, as well as get the 2021-year review out. But to keep it brief some mental troubles, plus life stuff, plus some bad artist mentality stuff like focusing on numbers and getting jealous of other artists, ended up making me hate art for a bit, and really made me question a lot of stuff I've been doing.  I'll get over it, but I feel like I've been stuck in my head for a while and it's harming what I can do. But at the end of the day, I should have been more communicative, so I apologize for the radio silence. 

Frankly I need to improve a lot of what I do so I can earn all of your support, because given my current output and skill level, I don't think I deserve the amount of support I currently get. So, one of my main goals will be clearing out my backlog while also trying to improve the quality and consistency in my work. 

Thank you for all of your support, especially during this slow month. I greatly appreciate it and will work hard to earn your continued support.

You and one other artist was one of the first people on Patreon that I started subbing too and I never subbed to an artist before, but your artstyle was so great and unique that I absolutely had to. I still get the same level of excitement now as I did when I first started to subbing to you just to see what you create next. I know you feel that you aren't worth supporting, but I'll say as a fan I don't regret a single penny that I spent to see your wonderful creations. I hope you get through this and come out stronger as a person and as an artist. 😊😊

Nothing good ever comes from comparing yourself to others especially when bringing numbers into the equation, you have a lot a supports who support you just as you are, improvements here in their are to be expected but don't compare what you need to improve on to how others go about it. You need to give yourself some credit, despite how bad you think things have been going its generally in a good status. You always got my support; especially if you bring on the thicc/booty I'll always be here to support.

Thank you for your kind message. I guess for me it's always been difficult because I dont fee like a have a hard grasp on art fundamentals enough to build confidence. But that is one of the things I want to fix for this year via practice, so here's hopinh. Thanks again for this and your other kind messages.

So other artists can make good art, but you know what? You do too! So good in fact, your works and determination is the only one I support on this platform. I'd feel foolish if I didn't. No one makes pixel art, or art in general like this! All the work and care for details and fluid movement to animations/pictures are things I and many others love to see and want to continue, so support we will! It's very well earned! Yeah I know I shouldn't compare myself to others, but I guess sometimes it's inevitable. But I can try to approach it in a healthier way in the future, so that's what I plan to do. Thank you so much for your kind words and support.
