Sorry this took so long!

The fur came out really grainy at first, and simply increasing the rendering quality made the render times jump to 12 minutes per frame, wich is waaaay too long.

I ended up splitting the scene into different layers (characters, background and fog), and after optimizing each layers as much as possible, it now takes 3 to 4 minutes per frame (much better).

Anyway, now that's finally out of the way I'm back animating. I'm planning on releasing a first chunk of the video with SFX this month when I have at least one minute of footage.
