Camp Buddy Version 1.2 - LAUNCHED! (Patreon)

Hey buddies! We're back with exciting news - Camp Buddy Version 1.2 has finally released for PC, Mac and Android! That's right, the update you've all been waiting for has finally been completed, and distributed out to all eligible Patrons and those who purchased the game! Please check your emails if you already own a copy of the game, as you should have a new download link available there! 

In addition, anyone who purchases the game from our site after this point will receive the most up-to-date version, as the PC & Mac Version on BMT Micro have been updated to 1.2 as well. There is also now the option to purchase the game for Android!

  • Added various accessories to characters in appropriate situations (Keitaro’s Camera, Seto’s Headphones)
  • Fixed Camp Buddy Icon on Android, PC & Mac Builds
  • Updated a few simple art mistakes
  • Various bug fixes and grammar corrections

We hope that everyone enjoys this new version of Camp Buddy with all of our updates, and we thank everyone for their patience while we worked on it's release! To celebrate the release of version 1.2 as well, we have decided to release the final Patron's Choice reward, featuring Aiden Flynn and Yoichi Yukimura along with version 1.2! While 1.2 was being developed, we have also continued our work on Taiga's route, as well as other fun & exciting things for Camp Buddy, so please stay tuned for more info! Thanks again, buddies!

Hello! Don't worry, your save data will transfer automatically from the old version! You can just redownload the game and your saves will still be there!

Hello. I bought a copy online from Blist. However, upon trying to open the game after downloading it, my Malwarebytes apparently detected Malware in MachineLearning and it will not let me start the updated game

it's a bit laggy. i know the old info transfers so do i have to remove the 1.1 or would that mess up the 1.2 version of camp buddy? (still love the fact that the update was free. really appreciate that :D)

I'm afraid to say that all my save files appear to be corrupted. I keep getting a grey screen with a load of code whenever I try to load a game file. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, you can delete your 1.1 to free up some space. It will not affect your save data ^_^

For those who may have been experiencing troubles with their save files: Since many bugs in the game have been addressed, your existing saves may have trouble since the game has changed. Unfortunately, there's a chance you may not be able to recover these saves. We have had a few people with this issue, so we will continue to look in to this and let you know if anything changes. The fastest download ever seen, less than 9 minutes. Everything works nicer than the previous version, even the laggy day change is much much smoother. Everything except the old save files but nevermind, the game deserves its extraball.😜

I get the new download link for the PC version today. After the download of the 7GB ZIP Archive I want to unpack it and my AntiVirus programm said that the CampBuddy. exe is a tojan virus. Hello! Some people are reporting this issue, yes, the game is 7 GB large - you should be able to tell your antivirus software to allow it, and the game should work after that!

Nice! Well, I got a problem that I somehow figured out. I copied and pasted my saves to the new version since I'm doing a full playthrough on my channel (in French, sorry T_T ) and... I thought for a second I had to redo the beginning of the game until my lastest save because, speaking of lastest save, it did not work properly with the version 1.2. Thanks goodness, I always keep my previous saves if anything goes wrong during the recording and the save I made before the last save worked. I don't really know why, maybe because I pressed the save button on the text box at the end of the episode to call it the day whereas I click on the gear then "save" the progress. Anyhoo, such a relief ^^

I had an issue where old saves were causing problems. Once I deleted all of my old save files the game seems to be running fine.
