Announcement : Camp Buddy Recruitment (Artist) & Patreon Reward Changes (Patreon)

Hey there, buddies! It’s been a jam-packed week for us, with the Major Announcement and all of those reward previews! We’re still going though, this time with a Minor Announcement about a couple of important notes for everyone!

Camp Buddy Recruitment

As you all know from the Major Update, we are currently targeting to release Camp Buddy within August of 2018, so just 2 more months from now! As exciting as this is, we really want to make sure that we can meet this goal in time, and we can help ensure that we reach it by outsourcing for a bit of help! The following positions are open, and if you believe that you are qualified or know someone qualified and interested, please reach out to us here on Patreon or at our email, blitsblgames@gmail.com!

• Music/Sound Effects Director: Throughout the game, there are various different sound effects and music that will play depending on the mood and situation that our beloved campers get themselves involved in! We want to make sure that the sounds/music fit the setting appropriately to avoid repetitiveness as well as make sure the songs are emotionally fitting for the scenes, and are looking for someone who can work with our scripts to ensure that the proper sounds are playing at the right time – if you’re interested in this position, we’d prefer that you can show some background in music as well!

• Background Artist: Mikkoukun has done an amazing job so far with all the beautiful background arts in the game, but unfortunately, as we close in on our release date, there are many other tasks that require his attention! We would like to hire an artist who can help us to make the last of our required backgrounds for Camp Buddy, preferably in the same style, and anyone applying for this position should send us a sample of their work! Please note that the remaining backgrounds consist of mostly indoor settings. 

• Cellshade/Chibi Artist: Related to the above position, there are multiple minor scenes in the game that don’t require a full CG, and will show a smaller, cellshaded or chibi artwork to depict the scene in question. We would like to hire an artist that can assist us with these minor artworks, and anyone applying for this position should send us a sample of their work! Please see below for a sample of the work required:

Of course, all of the above positions will be compensated, and we will work with anyone who applies to ensure that we negotiate a fair price for the work required! Game Development News

Programming

We're happy to announce that the coding process for Yoichi's Route has been completed and that the coding for Hunter’s route will begin as soon as the next week in correspondence with our schedule! 

Animation 

 The animation process has begun as of this month of June! We expect to complete all animations within these two months, just in time for the game’s release!  

More details about this and other aspects of game development will be detailed on our July Major Update! Please stay tuned!

Patreon Rewards For The Next Two Months (July & August 2018)

As mentioned above, we are struggling to balance all of our tasks to ensure that the release date is met in August. Because of this, we are going to be reducing the amount of sequences as well as sets given for the next couple of months. Please see below for the change:

• MAY 2018 REWARDS : Full sequences as normal. This month will be the same as the months before, without any reduced sequences or sets, consisting of the characters below. 

• Aiden x Natsumi
• Aiden x Yoichi
• Mystery Set

• JUNE 2018 REWARDS :  There will be 3 sets this month, but with reduced sequences and no BG in order to reduce time spent outside of Game Development work. In addition, the voting poll will be minor compared to previous polls in order to allow us to complete the rewards ahead of time and ensure we can continue working on development.

• JULY & AUGUST 2018 REWARDS :  These rewards will be 1 Solo character CG set only, without a voting poll, less sequences, and no BG to ensure that our team can fully devote our time to game development.

Tier Changes for July & August 2018 Rewards

IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING!!

Because the July and August rewards will consist of only 1 new, solo character set for each month, we will also be changing the pledge table for that month so that everyone can adjust and not pay an unfair amount! The pledge table will be as follows:

• $10 USD – Complete Set, Full- Resolution, Uncensored CG Set featuring a Camp Buddy Character.
• $30 USD – Deluxe Set, Includes Tier 1 Rewards and can choose one of the previous sets of Patreon-exclusive Rewards
• $50 USD – Buddy Set, Includes Tier 1 Rewards and can choose one of the previous sets of Camp Buddy Campaign CG Rewards

We hope that everyone will understand and bear with us as we reduce the rewards for this short period of time, and we want to promise everyone that we are only doing this so that you can all receive the game, in its best possible state, on time! The rewards will return to their normal, full version, after this time frame while we begin development on the expansion pack! Thank you everyone for your continued support and patience with us, we promise to do our best over the Summer to make sure you can all enjoy Camp Buddy very soon!
