I was lucky to grow up urbexing. When I was a kid, my grandpa would take me and my bro to various places, many of which had abandoned buildings around. Exploring those was the best thing. Later we've discovered an entire Soviet military airport very near where we live - completely abandoned as well. It was my favorite place on Earth. Past tense. It doesn't exist anymore. Or rather parts of it exist, but they've been renovated and repurposed as warehouses and apartments. There is just one building left of it, the way it was, and I'm pretty sure it'll get taken down soon. It's in very bad shape, and it's home to several cats and hundreds of spiders right now. I also saw a small deer there recently. SO THAT'S NICE

Anyway, have this much younger Jinjing-Yu doing what I love doing. She grew up urbexing too.

But did she ever really grow up? Did I?

I told her you said that, and she smiled, made some tiny crestie noises, and ran off!

That's a very nice story. Ive never found an exciting abandoned building. I've been to some very old extinct Indian reservation but nothing like an abandoned airport close to home. Its also nice to see you depict your memories with your characters as well. Good feels you share.
