See that shit, kids? That shit's my previous computer.

I am dead serious. XD

Yes, it was constantly open like that, because the case was like 12 years old, and the relatively powerful CPU (hexa-core AMD Phenom II X6 1075T) generated so much heat that some dust was less harmful than that. Hey, at least I had a really good CPU cooler (it's a Zalman, but I don't know the model). Also there's a dead body in this photo. The GPU. It's a corpse. There's a pleasant thought for you!

Also look, a floppy drive! I honestly forgot I had that there. XD

ANYWAY!

This post means that my new workstation is built, running, and set up! No photo of that, because you've already seen the case and what's inside. All the arting programs are ready to use, and in fact, I've finally started arting a thing today!

Also fun fact: building this wonderful beast took about 8 hours, spanning over one night, and one morning. Installing and setting everything up took three days. ._.

Right now there's just one small problem with heat while rendering, but some additional Noctua fans should help. They're bought; just gotta wait for them to arrive. Should be here on Saturday or Monday.

I can't get enough of that gentle, low hum - like a really classy server. <3

The old thing was making so much noise you could literally hear it next room. XD

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I feel like I'm looking at some retro science fiction from the 60s. Surprised there aren't any flashing lights. There must have been some heat generating off that open case. Its amazing what you were able to accomplish with what you had.

For now, not much will change; I will keep introducing new things slowly, but steadily. C:

Oh, there are a couple of lights in that thing! An LED or two on the motherboard, the CPU cooler lights up green, the two obvious LEDs on the front, and there was a memcard reader on the front with two more LEDs, but it's not present here; was in the new computer at this point. Well, this list was unnecessary, but hey XD
