Now for the not-so-nice things, but very important ones:

Starting July 1st, Patreon will be required by law to charge an additional sales tax in some cases. Their description of these changes is a bit convoluted, but it boils down to this: depending on your tier's reward, and your location ("some countries and US states"), you may or may not be charged an additional 4-11% sales tax. For a $5 pledge, that would be 20-55 cents. And you may not be charged at all, depending on a lot of factors.

As far as I'm aware, considering what I do here, there may not be any additional charges, at least not on the majority of tiers.
