Oookay, this is unexpected.

Apparently Patreon doesn't care whether I post something for the $15 tier, or the $1 tier. I see it's processing pledges from people who supposedly didn't see the last paid post I made.

So now my question to patrons on tiers lower than $15 is: have you seen the post with that Kebibi commission? This is very important; I don't want anyone to basically pay for things they don't see, and if this is what happened here, I can refund your pledge for that post, no problem!

Alternatively, you can set a monthly pledge cap. I'll be making between 2-4 paid posts in a month, 2 of which are on the $1 tier, and the others are either $5 or $15.

Whichever the case, the way this works is nonsensically unfair.

Patreon, I am disappoint.

Well, this sucks. Apparently you'll be charged for it anyway. I fail to understand why it works like this. Let me know if you'll want a refund once your pledge is processed!

Patreon is badly flawed in this regard, it seems. Do tell if I should refund this to you, once you get charged; it's totally not a problem. ^.^

tchaikovsky2

No idea why they made it this way. I can make refunds once the pledges are processed; let me know if you'll want that!

Anonymous

I did not.

tchaikovsky2

Yeah, I'm not sure how to handle this, other than offering refunds, so do tell if you'll want that (it's entirely okay). ^.^

you can keep my $5, i'm just hoping for more pictures of Uzuri, i think i've fallen in love with her :D

tchaikovsky2

Aww, thank you very much! :D And I'll try to come up with something with her. :3 Something solo? Or will anything do?

I think you might be better doing 'per month' sponsorship as opposed to 'per artwork', I wouldn't worry about irregular posting as many artists on Patreon post very variable amounts of content from one month to the next and no one seems to mind.

Yeah, I've been thinking about that. I don't entirely like it, but if either of my other two solutions won't work, I will do just that. v_v
