HEY LOOK A NEW CHARACTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111111111one1111eleven

She is an asar - a lovely species created by the late Jim Hardiman. Me and a dear friend of mine didn't want them to die along with their creator, so here's me attempting to make Hardiman's legacy live on.

This char is also a birthday gift for said friend, and her name is O'ori. She will get some accessories later on, and I may or may not do some tweaks to her in the nearest future, as always with new chars. I have three more pictures planned with her, and I intend to focus mostly on those, this and next month. :3c

Ahhh love it. Seeing her with shading and emotion is really good, i have an issue with ref pics, I need to see the final stage to really appreciate it. You can certainly tell you have fun posing her though. Also just noticed that she has redundant toes on ankles (or im silly and or blind?) Did you enjoy it so much because of her style, bringing back/homage to an older species, or just because you were doing it as a gift? (or other :p)

You may think otherwise but <a href="https://78.media.tumblr.com/f965e51febd1e3bf4c399149018d3a82/tumblr_oqu6qtlwPN1qhhr89o1_1280.jpg" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">that face</a> has the same expression (minus the tongue) as this model (Bria Myles). I instantly saw a parallel there. Thought it was pretty interesting. Quite a suggestive introduction picture you have here, it's such a pretty location as well. You do so well with color and lighting it's unbelievable sometimes. I can see some interesting collaborations now happening with Uzuri in my head. Woo thank goodness you gave her such a long tongue.

Uh, no, the toes on the ankles are just the ankle bones. XD Now that you mention it, they might be a little too strongly defined. Will have to look into that! And I enjoyed it for all of these reasons tbh. :D Thank you!

Hardiman is probably THE artist who got me into furry stuff, so it's only fair that I honor his memory somehow, and I guess attempting to revive the asar is just that. Thank you!
