Content

I've just launched CoillWorks, a new Patreon dedicated to original content.

At the moment the plan is to start with a NSFW comic continuation to “The Artifact”, but I'm willing to try other types of content based on supporting patrons’ opinions.

Here's an example page I prepared back in May (public resolution), it's a bit rough around the edges, but I learnt a lot, so it was a worthwhile test.

For patrons who are not interested in supporting original content.

No worries, I’ll still continue to focus on my NSFW parody works here.
The only minor changes are that for now I will not be able to do more than the usual 6 Updates per month, and that I might share public versions of my original works here from time to time (if patrons welcome it).

For patrons interested in supporting original content on the new Patreon.

Thank you! Here are some quick notes that you may find helpful.

  • How many creations per month?
For now, I will only have time to do 1 "Work" (creation) per month. This might change as more patrons choose to pledge for 2nd, 3rd etc. Works per month.
  • What comes in a ”Work”?
One or two full color comic pages, depending on the content's complexity. As an example, a page as detailed and dense as the one above would be a single-page Work.

If patrons would rather have some lewd content in every Work, I'm considering doing a NSFW illustration to accompany SFW comic pages (when time allows)

If patrons are interested in other types of content (illustrations, animations or even developing a NSFW game) I’m up to giving them a go.
  • What type of rewards?
The main rewards are higher res versions, with $5 also getting an art-only version (no bubbles or sound effects), please read through the tier descriptions for all details.

  • Poll differences
Vote weight will be stored over the months and only spent when voting on major polls (such as deciding which comic will be done next, which character/s to feature etc.) so the earlier a patron supports, the stronger their influence.

Minor polls (choosing a character to feature in a one-off illustration) may still simply use the previous month’s patronage (up to 50 points).
  • Intrigued but unsure you’d like the content?
Pledge at the Coillector tier on Coillworks, that way you can support it without committing to the creations for the time being since you can use the Coills for Updates on this Patreon (don't forget to set up a pledge limit!)

Lastly, to find out what I should focus on I've made an interest poll over at CoillWorks, please make sure to vote on it if you join. Keep in mind that the weight of your vote will be equal to your monthly patronage on the new Patreon (up to 10 Points for this first post), so you will have to make sure to be a patron when the first paid post drops on the 30th.

Well, that’s about it! Before I get back to work on this month's pieces, I’d like to thank everyone who showed interest in my original works up until now, by pledging for the original Updates, liking the posts and voting for them on the polls (reached 8th place last time, not bad!). I really hope you will enjoy what I have in store over at CoillWorks.

If you have any questions feel free to send them my way in the comments, Patreon messages or Discord.

So I'm a bit confused, So if you post other stuff on there besides comics, Would it be similar to what is on here or very different?

NeoCoill

Visually probably pretty similar, but the kind of situations I depict may break from the usual pattern I follow here. Now based on the current vote on the interest poll at CoillWorks (https://www.patreon.com/posts/important-poll-71887376), patrons seem to want me to focus on doing comic pages and only do extra NSFW illustrations during SFW periods in the comic. So, during times where I could do 2 SFW pages, I'd do 1 SFW page and 1 NSFW illustration instead. Sometimes I may have little time after the page, so the illustration may not have any variations, or perhaps I'll have lots of time and try using a more advanced coloring style, or even do multiple simpler pics? Ultimately, I want to create whatever patrons actually enjoy the most, which will require me to try some things out and see what resonates. Of course, whatever it is it'll be original, and chances are they'd either complement the comic (showing extra scenes with characters, side-stories etc.) or, if patrons would prefer more variety, feature a different setting and set of characters.
