As I mentioned last christmas, I’d like to slowly increase drawing time as much as possible by trimming as much unnecessary management work as possible. Here are the changes I’ve come up with so far.

Phasing out the video reward in February.

According to the process video poll from last October: 75% of patrons don’t care for these video rewards, 18% like them and only 5% think of it as their main interest. When considering only the $5+ patrons this pattern was even more pronounced.

Considering these numbers I have had a hard time justifying the time spent making them, therefore I’ll stop offering process video rewards starting next month.

I think a more focused standalone Gumroad zip would work better for these more niche rewards. Something with at least a 1hr long video (instead of the usual 15 min ones).

I don’t know how well they'll do or when I'll make one, but I’ll let you know when I do.

WIPs to be posted more relaxedly on discord and crop teases on twitter for promotion

It felt silly to make a whole post for a WIP when the final pic will be posted in just a day or two, so from now on if I post WIPs I’ll do so on the PatronsClub room in my Discord server. I’d also like to try posting WIP teases on twitter and such to see how well they do, but you guys will keep getting the full view as usual.

No more poll estimates, just results

Really doubt many people even know of them, and even less actually check them.

Plus...

Other things that I’ll notice as I go or too small to mention.

Art-wise I'd like to make less sets with many-versions pieces and instead spend that time making simpler multiple-piece Updates or refined painterly pieces. Most incoming commissions will be of the many-versions type though so don't worry if those are your favorites, there's plenty coming your way haha.

Well it’s time to get back to work, thank you all for continuing to support my work with your patronage, here’s to a greater year than the last!
