Yes, I have put together another set for my platformer video game character series! This time, we've got:

King Dedede and Bandana Waddle Dee, from the Kirby series. They seem to have (accidentally?) switched weapons. With this piece, I've now covered all four of the primary playable Kirby characters!

Chai, from Hi-Fi Rush. This game just came out, and I am LOVING it. It's a rhythm-based brawler, but there is a ton of platforming between fights... which is a good enough excuse to include Chai here as far as I'm concerned!

Cream the Rabbit, from the Sonic series. (Specifically, the Sonic Advance games and Sonic Heroes.) Cream has a pet Chao named cheese, but I've drawn her with a block of actual cheese here because I'm very funny.

Coco, from the Crash Bandicoot series. I've based her appearance here on her Crash 4 look... that game gave the cast some great redesigns, IMO! It also had a truly stupid number of crates per level, and getting to the end of a giant level with one still missing is a deeply upsetting experience. Ha!

Capt'n Havoc, from High Seas Havoc. This is a pretty obscure SEGA Genesis game that I rented a few times as a kid. There were a lot of Sonic-inspired games back in the 90s, but none dared to rip off the blue hedgehog's look quite as directly as old Havoc, here. A kid could be forgiven for getting them mixed up! So I've given him a helpful t-shirt to avoid confusion. (lol)

Alucard from Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. I've generally avoided more realistic human characters for this project... but Castlevania is such a notable series, it was starting to feel a little weird to not include it somehow. There were a ton of playable characters in the Castlevania games to pick from, but Alucard stars in what is probably the most influential and highly regarded entry, so I went with him!

Thanks, y'all! I hope you enjoyed these entries. 'til next time! (And do check out Hi-Fi Rush if you're able... it rules!)

Damn crates. Been in Coco's shoes more times than I can count.
