Patreon Kickstarter Bonuses (Patreon)

As you may or may not have already seen, I'm currently running a Kickstarter for new books: Volume 5 of the current S&F series, and a new hardcover set that collects all 5 volumes in three larger omnibuses. We got off to a strong start... the project funded yesterday, and we're now chipping away at stretch goals to make the books even fancier and more bonus packed!

I wanted to provide a little something extra for folks like you, who are already generously backing me here on Patreon. Kickstarter doesn't really have a mechanism to give people discounts, and trying to create separate discounted tiers made the tier list a giant mess, so instead, I've opted for the free bonus stuff approach!

Long story short, if you are a Patreon backer who backs the Kickstarter: 

- You'll recieve a free E-Book PDF copy of IS IT FOOD: a 50 page con-exclusive collection of my various Butcher, Baker, Buddy, and President Dog strips that isn't available to buy outside of conventions in any other way.

-If you nab any of the Artist Edition versions of the books, your custom-drawn bookplate will be spot-coloured (like the examples above) instead of black-and-white. Only Patreon backers will get colour plates. (Or even know they exist!)

I'm not going to advertise either of these bonuses anywhere. They are just a little something extra for those of you guys who are double-dipping this month, as thanks for your above-and-beyond support of my work. (I know there are a lot of you doing it!) 

And if you're not double-dipping -- because you can't or because you just don't want any books -- that's dang well fine too! Thank you for supporting me here. You are all the best!

PS: On a slightly downer aside, we did not quite make our bonus comic goal last month after all...  a truly abnormally high number of pledges (10!) were cancelled by Patreon due to failed payments. However, we've picked up quite a few new backers this month, so assuming all goes smoothly with billing this time (as it almost always does!), our first bonus comic will arrive NEXT month!
