It's S&F Extra time! Here's a behind the scenes look at what I worked on last month.

In the gallery above, you'll find the final version of each piece, as well as some step-by-step animated process GIFs.  And own here, I'll provide some info about each piece!

Greetings From Megalopolis 01
This piece was a fun challenge! As you'll see in the two process GIFs above, I created the postcard image separately, then inserted it into the larger piece.  Can you find Pintsize? He's mostly obscured, but he's in there.

Recreating that famous postcard style was a little outside my usual artistic wheelhouse, but I'm pretty happy with the results! I filled the logo with background art from the actual original Megalopolis comics, then applied various filters and transparencies to it to make it the right colours. The most annoying part of the postcard process was creating that circuit board background, which I drew entirely in Photoshop using the line and selection tools, one line at a time.

Even More Trevor
Since the last time I posted, I went back and made two more Trevor cover variants -- for the Classic and Noosehead omnibuses -- completing the set. As a joke, I used the exact same Trevor art for both Classic and Noosehead, but edited in Trevor's "iconic hat" for the Noosehead version. You can see larger versions of the art in the gallery above!

Bunsen for President
Here's another fun piece I drew for Bunsen the science dog! They requested a piece of him running for President, and well... I do have some experience drawing presidential dogs.

This piece also features adorable Bunsen's new baby sister, Beaker. (Yes, they are named after the Muppet characters!)

Electric Mayhem
And speaking of Muppets... I just wrapped up work on the ongoing Electric Mayhem series that a reader has been commissioning over the last few months! The addition of Dr. Teeth and Lips completes the set. I've included all six individual pieces in the gallery above.

Thanks again, everyone! Talk to you again soon.
