It's been a busy, travel filled month. But I've still been doing plenty of drawing! Here's a bunch of stuff I've been working on lately:

Platformer Pieces
To start, here's another trio of freshly marker-coloured versions of some of my platformer pieces... as well as two brand new "deep cut" characters that I was commissioned to draw!

In the top row, we've got Commander Keen, The Knight from Hollow Knight, and Mega Man. And in the bottom row are our two newcomers... Dash from Monster Bash, and Cosmo from Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure. I actually hadn't heard of either of these two before, but they're both pulled from early 90s DOS PC games published by Apogee... the same company that made Commander Keen, and that later went on to make games like Wolfenstein and Duke Nukem.

You can view full sized pictures of each character in the gallery above!

Hulkbuster Armadillo
Every year at Emerald City Comic Con, a particular commissioner gets me to draw a new "Spider-Ham" style version of different superhero characters. This latest piece is an armadillo version of the Hulkbuster Iron Man suit! It's not a pun, but it does feel very appropriate. I think it turned out pretty cool, tbh!

Ninja Cat
Speaking of commissions, here's a cat dressed as Itachi from Naruto! He's polydactyl, so I drew him in a pose that would highlight his extra toes. I hope this cat doesn't have a backstory as messed up as the real Itachi, haha!

ROPE
I wanted to experiment with a messier style for this one, so I drew it in Procreate with grittier brushes, and only pencilled the most basic guides before doing the inking. I think it turned out fun!

Profile Portraits Over the last two weeks, I ran a fresh batch of character profiles on my website! When they were finished, they looked like this:

But with the exception of Baker's profile, I actually drew all the character art on paper as black-and-white ink pieces. I thought they might be nice pieces to have around, or to possibly sell at some point. Here's photos of all of 'em!

You can view the full sized photos of each piece, as well as the finished profile pages they were used in, in the gallery above!

And yes, Nicole's performance art piece was originally half nekkid, in keeping with how her photography project has been described in previous pieces/comics. I added a jumpsuit to the final website profile version and censor bars to the photo here, but I'll post the original versions of both to the Saucy Hippo tier in our next update.

That's all for today, team! But I'll be back soon with more goodies.
