I saw a dead seagull last summer in Iwaki.

I don't know reason but I was interested in it and sketched.

Recently I have been doing a lot of drawings of tourist sights.

Geological with people, they are lovely.

But I also envy the affection between people.

I have been struggling with this lately.

I paint landscapes while enduring solitude. This is not good.

I want to face others too. I do not want to just look at them.

To do so, I should first face my true feelings.

So, when I was thinking of motifs other than landscapes, for some reason, I remembered seagulls.

(Maybe I should have zoned this one out.)

After I painted "Dead Seagulls," I felt sorry for what I had done.

I painted one picture of a seagull that was not dead.

After that, for some reason I wanted to paint a picture of a deer, too.

This deer was on a road in Wakayama.

But I still like beautiful nature, city, and tourist sites.

I am still painting landscapes. I am also exploring new paintings.

I will hold an exhibition in Tokyo next summer.

As a human being, I want to relate to society with confidence.

Don’t feel guilty for sketching the dead seagull, you bore witness to it.

I like basically everything you make. And I hope you will soon have people to give you the affection you deserve.

I like the variety of subjects in your art! Also very happy to hear about the exhibition :)

Excited for the exhibition! I wish you the best of luck connecting with people. If it can give you any solace, a stranger on the Internet is always touched by your work and believes in you.
