We are actively contacting all contributors in Russia because we will not be able to pay out your funds this month.

As a result of sanctions against Russia for invading Ukraine, many financial institutions in Russia have been excluded from the international banking system. This ban is not comprehensive and we are not sure which authors will be affected. The payout provider you are using may have already contacted you with more specific information regarding your payout, but we wanted to make sure all creators are aware of the situation and what Patreon is doing.  

We are still charging your customers and the funds will remain safe and pending until they can be withdrawn. Since these sanctions also affect credit card payments, customers in Russia may not be charged, so you may see a decrease in the number of payments processed as a result.  

This is a rapidly changing environment and we are in constant communication with our payment partners to better understand how we can support creators and their backers. If something changes, we will make those changes on our end as quickly as possible. We are committed to making your account fully functional as soon as possible and are working with you to get through this time. "
