I was busy this month, and then I had surgery to remove my appendix, so this month's video is a little short. It's just a follow-up to the SNES Graphics & Palettes video that shows a 3-dimensional representation of the graphics formats. This would have best fit in the original video, but I had no idea how to animate 3D things yet. This video was sort of my learning experience on animating 3D stuff, so maybe you'll see more of it in the future!

Do you prefer comments on here or on YouTube? What software did you use for the 3D animation?

I check both comments sections, but I am much much more likely to respond in a timely manner if you post here. As for the video, I used After Effects just like my other videos. It has a simple 3D editor mode that lets you animate 2D objects in 3 dimensions. You can't do anything really complicated in it, but it still has all the scripting stuff that comes in super handy for things I need to animate.
