Issues aside, some of the changes are both important and good in my opinion. Clarification about deepfakes, violence, bestiality, and various other things is all good.

However, I do find it odd that they claim to be committed to supporting 18+ creators, and that a focus group that included such creators was used to create these new rules. Especially when the new rules make it clear that absolutely no kind of sexual interaction is permitted. What kind of 18+ content can I create exactly with no sex?

Anyway, I am not upset about this. We've known for a long time that things were headed this way. Every site out there slowly clamps down more and more on adult content, especially fetish content. 

If they shut me down, then I will just move to Subscribestar, build my own website, or do a massive revamp so that no unacceptable content is listed on Patreon itself. Worst case scenario is that I build my own website, or I just use Patreon to redirect to my Discord server.
