Bugfix 2 and Mac/Linux versions! (Patreon)

Hi there,

First of all, here you go...:

LOK Rebirth v0.1 Bugfix 2

[Win64]
[Win32]
[Mac]
[Linux]

Both Mac and Linux versions are universal, meaning you should be able to run them in both x86 and x64 systems.

However, please understand that I can't offer full support for them, as I'm not a Mac or Linux user. I depend on Unity to do their thing as it should, so if I don't see critical compile errors, I'll take for granted all went well.

And before you ask... no, I don't have the slightest idea of what an ".app" directory or ".x86" are supposed to be. ^_^´

With that out of the road, here's the change log...

v0.1 Bugfix 2 (Nov 30th 2017)

Changes

- Added stat descriptions on mouseover (numbers).
- Added "New scene unlocked" and "End of current content" messages.
- Added an explanation message of what a dark red dialogue option means.

Fixes

- Issue #23: Save/Load/Quit options don't show up after returning from 'Sound' (they're not supposed to).
- Issue #20: *Fail task* option at waterfront, doesn't lock the cursor anymore.
- Issue #25: Far trees layer looked bad in the clearing.
- Issue #26: Lizardgirl front foot doesn't twitch anymore.

will you add a gallery at some point? also sometimes when doing scenes the fade to black scenes will completely over lap through out the entire scene this happened with a sek(character) scene

I will test it on linux tonight and give my final thoughts :) , when i tested the bugfixed version on windows using the save from the first version..it gave me a blue screen of death, now that was nostalgic :))

i can't get my game to launch. I downloaded all for platforms and none of them work. Windows user.

I've just downloaded the Win64 version and it's fine. Where exactly is not working? It gives you some error?

yes but i figured out a way to fix it. Extract files and it worked appreciate the response though. :)

Mac version works great! Can't wait for content update where Krystal enjoys her time in the tribe even more ;)

How do I see the new scene? and where the explanation of the texts in red and dark? i have to new game?

You've misunderstood the change log. Those are notifications only. And the explanation it's about 'dark red' options. There's only one when failing Eri's task and it's not available yet.

I take for granted you mean content updates. Well, that's what I wanted when we started this, but reality had other plans. This project is just too complex to focus on writing a story and some events on a monthly basis...: they also need to be animated and scripted to a level of details other simpler engines don't bother with. So, in short, if we aimed for monthly content updates, they'd be really poor in play time. Next one I estimate will be around late January. In the meantime you could count on a 0.1.1 update to add some features like the fast travel.

There are four stages with the 'pot guy' (he's not Sek), ending in a boobjob. Then the groping/exposing of the intro and the shower in the ship. Yeah, not much but we'll get there in time.

In the Windows version, savegames are stored in your own user profile, so you don't need to do anything to have your old savegames when playing a new game version. That said, there will be times when I need to add variables to a new version, so you'll need to start from scratch. I'll warn about that happening in the relevant change log.

Dear developer, I wanted to ask you when the new task will open? after the pot which must be washed, I'm tired of saying it's tired to do this task, already got hearts: yellow +260: red + 510: lilac + 120 here is the question: 3 how many more do you need to accumulate hearts to open the next task? or am I doing something wrong? Hello LOK Team, I seem to be having an issue. When I open the game I get the first screen and when it fades the game crashes, I'm not sure what is going wrong, or if there is something I have done wrong.

That's the point in which all game resources are loaded. LOKR makes a heavy use of RAM from all things. What are your system specs?
