Another batch of bugfixes and minor internal changes. It was needed to start making new content the right way. The saving system should be MUCH more solid now. Quitting to the Main Menu shouldn't break things also.

Thank you so much to all people that have reported issues and if you see some more, that are not listed in 'Known issues', please tell me.

In any case, we'll work on adding new things from now on. You won't see a new build until we have 0.1, which will let you recover control of our foxy lady and roam around the village a little, meeting some secondary characters.

Enhancements:

- Resource utilization optimized by roughly an 80%.


Changes:

- Quit to main menu button disabled in cutscenes/conversations.

- Now you're asked to name the main character during the priority call scene.


Fixes:

- Fade transitions no longer interrupted by pressing Esc.

- Notices should now appear, even after being quit to the Main Menu.

- You still get called to see the Chieftain when loading the game at that point.

- Some failsafes added so it's more difficult to mess with cutscenes by spamming mouse clicks.

- Main character speaking animation could have been playing out of turn, when starting a conversation after examining something.


Known issues:

- Moonwalking in some instances.

- Pathfinding is not 100% accurate.

- Player facing is not saved at the moment.

- Music stops in some jungle scenes, after loading a game.

- Double-clicking not always responsive (works better if not too fast).

- Mouse cursor icons are not (always) stable. Need to change to hardware rendering.

- Last save slot always gets tagged as "New save" when overwriting. Nothing I can do at the moment.

- In the Jungle, going immediately back the way you've come could (sometimes) break the transition.

when will the full game be done?

Not for a long while. This is an alpha build of the game. I would imagine we won't see a final product for at least a year, if not longer.

Just found your 7/18 demo on F95, and just after playing that I *had* to pledge. This fixes the original's biggest failing, the Playshapes art, spectacularly - your art is fantastic! The addition of actual conversational choices is also an awesome improvement over the original's linearity. Anyhow, just gotta say I'm super excited about this! Looking forward to seeing where you go with it :) Also, just out of curiosity - do you plan to have any sort of pregnancy content (like Gorepete's version on LoK - only hopefully more well-integrated)?

Thanks, glad you like it. :-) Pregnancy is something we want to include, yeah. I'm not familiar with that version of Gorepete. What do you mean by 'integration'?

I like the game so far you guys have done a really good job with what you've created. How long will it be till we get 0.1 because i want to see more of the story you create?

Difficult to say. I'm very bad at estimating workloads, to be honest. :-( The only thing I know is that we work on this on a daily basis, so let's hope it could be before August end.

After I completed the game, I pressed quit, then I pressed skip intro, and it put me into the beginning of the demo, but there was no UI, or dialog, all I could do was walk around her room.

That's a very good catch and I'm really baffled right now trying to troubleshoot this. It doesn't make sense. :-D Thank you! Edit: Ahh, found it! And I've learned another little thing in the process. Thanks! ;-)

Loving the direction so far that you guys are taking on working on foundation before content. I am hoping to see more interactions soon though but understand that comes with time, I will make a suggestion though for feature as to movement to allow wasd/arrow keys, i admit that I am not a tech person so not sure how difficult that will be but it is something to thing about as well as to allow spacebar or enter advancement of text...though there is a few times that you can spacebar now it sometimes has to be left clicked a couple of times to get it to work as it 'spaces out' ;) and will not let you so have to wake it up the game must be thinking of Krystal falling into the trap pit in the jungle :)

Keyboard movement implies more changes that one would expect because I heavily depend on precoded plugins that don't take too well to be running simultaneously with code that interfere with their core functions. About the dialogue accepting keystrokes to advance or selecting choices, that's something I'd prefer that that plugin didn't do at all, as the game is designed to be played with the mouse only. In fact, if I find the way to prevent that from happening I will implement it. :-D Thanks for your feedback.
