Hey y'all, a quick one but a necessary one re: website migration & payment methods.

Please if you can, take the time to fill out the poll below with the answer that best pertains to your circumstances 😊

For those of you who use PayPal to subscribe to Patreon, is it your ONLY payment method? i.e is it only directly linked with your bank account or is it linked directly to a card?

PayPal functionality isn't enabled on the new platform YET but there is a workaround through enabling PayPal as a payment method with Google Pay and paying through that, but I'm just curious to have an idea of the extent of the impact of this.

Apparently full functionality is a priority for the devs, but I've been told Q3 or Q4 might be the latest it fully becomes available.

Also please select whether you would be willing to use the workaround if functionality isn't readily available by May!

Let me know below!

Question: are you still working on the PayPal function? Because I clicked on Google play and there was another one option with PayPal, but it says "is not accepted here" is it because you are still working on it? Or is it because of the county? (Europe)

Hey Moon! Unfortunately I specifically am not working on the PayPal function, but the platform owners themselves are working on integration beocming functional. Some quick questions: were you trying to sign up to the site on the phone or one the desktop? And also which browser were you using? Right now, Google Pay and Apple Pay should be the only other eligible payment services besides Credit Card so it might have been one of those showing up. If you link PayPal to your Google Pay as a payment method this works if you are unable to pay with anything except for PayPal, but native PayPal functionality is still being worked on unfortunately :(
