There was more to the last song and it was epic. I hope you realised and listened, lol

I've listened to this whole album 23 times over in the past day and a half - I've gotchu lmao.

The album as a whole has a much more sugary pop thread to it (no pun intended) than I had somehow expected from the earlier concept contents, not that that's a bad thing!- and it feels like the titles match well - overall fairly light listening musically to me, but definitely very fun 😆. Though my favourite TXT songs are definitely scattered between albums (and jump between their crazy range of moods), I'd have to say in terms of listening to the musical whole from start to finish, the Eternity album is still unbeaten on my list of personal preferences for both the styles it dives into and it's experimentation... but this one definitely flows very coherently, every song has some great lines lyrically (as far as I can judge poetry in translation), and of course their singing just keeps improving and it's a stellar performance from all of them. I really like that with the flexibility of all the vocals they can escape the somewhat formulaic obligation of a rap verse, which can be SO great but definitely isn't always necessary (break for an unnecessary shout-out by me to one of the peaks that's the verse in Loser = Lover 🤩) - if I'm not misremembering then there didn't seem to be any very defined rap apart from sing-rapping in Happy Fools? which was then more the whole group rather than a verse break, and that fits very comfortably with what the album is. I think in terms of music, my favourite being Devil by The Window was sealed by that intoxicating outro that literally lifted into an open ending for the song - the bass is so fun but that little break in structure made it fantastic... and Farewell Neverland, as a great outro with a more round structure but no more than the instrumentation and forward vocals it needs. I'm definitely having fun with the choreography for both Sugar Rush Ride and DBTW and the performance aspect of it though! ... have TXT found their performance forte with the concept of 'beguilingly unhinged'?... Though Happy Fools is less my style, the 'like a butterfly' lines are some of my favourites. And Tinnitus... is sadly relatable and has an interesting rhythm, but honestly what made the song for me was Soobin's tik-tok of him rollin', rollin', rollin', rollin'. I can't hear it without the emotions that inspired. It's a masterpiece and the song clearly exists to provide a soundtrack for his whims. If you read this far, please watch that video if you haven't yet. They all took up one of the tracks to promote on tiktok if you need a more substantial reason to investigate, but - it's so perfect. I would compile a video for you to see in the future just to share it with you.
