Great reaction! This arc is fantastic, top notch anime moments. Just wanted to add that the song playing in the background during the climax is Dvorak's 9th Symphony "From the New World" 4th Movement. I believe it is the one and only time an OST is used in One Piece that is not composed by their own composers, from what I can remember. Also, before it plays, Tashigi's flashback of Smoker telling her "Something is going to happen that will mark the start of a new age" also adds to the connection of the piece/song being played. It didn't occur to me until now that I am rewatching it! The connection of Dvorak's 9th symphony and Smoker's words, brilliant from Toei. Okay, not sure if you already found the answer to this but there are canon-mixed fillers (like buggy's journey to loguetown with alvida which was vaguely told by Oda himself in between chapters of the mangas) and there are fillers (which are just straight up for the anime only). But regarding Zoro, he def knew about Mihawk before Baratie. He was looking for him the whole time so no canon has been broken.
