you're right... that Tuxedo Mask is really familiar, but I just can't put my finger on it! I'm glad you're liking Usagi, I know she can be a bit hit or miss for some people because she's a bit bratty at times, but I love her character, especially Crystal's version. Also I agree with you about fan service in anime, they know exactly how to play to their audience, and mostly it comes down to creators who write things they know they'd enjoy watching themselves, so they make it as fun as they can, instead of going through focus groups or designed by committee like modern hollywood, also, you will find shojo series with more... Risqué fan service, Sailor Moon is just more all ages. by the way it's a little change from the manga, but at the end Usagi didn't fall asleep just because she was tired, she drank some of the drinks at the party thinking it was juice and ended up passing out from getting really drunk.
