This episode brings together so many questions, the most important of all is "Why the hell don't the angels know what pre-requisites you need to meet before getting into heaven?" This isn't something they should be sweeping under the rug and moving on to the big "no". This means they aren't aware of weather the people they are letting into their fold are actual good people. For all they know Hitler or Jack the Ripper, or even your racist uncle are walking amongst them. This is your place of living; background checks are very useful for determining not only if the people you let in are worthy of getting in but also to figure out if the people you are letting in are dangerous or not. Look at Adam, he's clearly not a good person and yet he was the first mortal to be let in., he's gleeful in the face of annual massacres of hundreds of people, that's something you would sooner see in a resident of Hell rather than Heaven. This shows that the angels are surprisingly incompetent given how they react to the question of what gets people into heaven.

"Thousands of souls" What world is she living in if she thinks there are only "thousands" of souls in Hell? There'd be billions, at the least.
