That was the most clear & concise guitar lesson I’ve ever experienced. I usually go cross-eyed trying to have an instrument explained to me. Actually makes me want to raid the bf’s music room & learn 😅 thank you Falcore! 💜

Something for me to try this weekend on my Strat. Guitar is already tuned to Drop D. Heck I might actually try this tomorrow if I'm not too tired from work. I've been wondering how to play the lead for this for years. As far as the beginning goes, I'm glad I was able to get the power chords by ear prior to this. I now see that I'm suppose to mute the strings, downpick then upick. I just kept palm muting and downpicking before. Huge thank you for this!

If I can put out a song request to learn. Remember Me. I have a gut feeling I've been playing that wrong too.

Incredible! As someone who doesn’t play guitar, it’s cool to see how the guitar part comes together. If I was to make a song request, I’d say pins & needles or sideways,

Love this kind of stuff, man! You're a very good teacher/explainer. How about Falling Down for a request?

Great lesson Falcore. I would like to see more.

Awesome lesson! Can’t wait to give it try. Looking Glass is my go-to song when I need a burst of energy in life. Thank you TBM for this song and Falcore thank you for the lesson ;)

That was really cool, I can't play the guitar but I know how much practice and dedication you have to put into perfecting it and you are an awesome axeman. Thank you for that and it would be really interesting to see how you play a song like 'In The Dark'🤘

This was fantastic! I love seeing the breakdown of how to play the song even though guitar's not my instrument; I learned a lot! I've always loved how lyrical your instrumentation is, how the chord progressions evolve across the song and create tension and interest. Like the chorus of Looking Glass, Chibi's melody plays great against the guitar chords -- like, you could've hung on to those chords longer or made it simpler but it wouldn't have sounded as good. I don't know if I'm explaining it right. Is that an actual step in your songwriting process, to "evolve up" the chord structures to make it sound more interesting (not complex, exactly, just... awesomer)?

Dude - this was awesome! Always wanted to know how touring musicians created their effects setups and layering them. Really appreciate the time taken to show us! Thx, Falcore!

Very Cool! Would love to see Superstition!

Wow, that was fantastic! Thanks! I really enjoyed it! That was so cool, I've gotta go lie down for awhile, haha! :) That was very well explained and very clear. I'd be interested to see how to play Pins and Needles, which is a cool riff! Thanks again! :)

Well done! I really enjoy to learn about the details in your guitar work.

Awesome! Keep them coming Falcore. What amp models do you use? You had mentioned in an earlier video that you combine 2 amp models together to get your tone. Thanks.

I second Falling Down as a request. I'd love to see a run through of that. For anyone with a Delay that displays milliseconds and beat division values, I found that 1026ms sounds pretty close to what was used in this video. Seems to have a very similar rhythmic pattern, even if it's not exact.

I just bought my first Les Paul and you’ve made this look incredibly easy. I can’t wait to try.

Hi Melvin, I think Falling Down would be a fun lesson to make. I'll put it on my list. Also, here's a good resource for calculating delay times to tempo. Just type in the tempo of the song and it will do the work for you: https://anotherproducer.com/online-tools-for-musicians/delay-reverb-time-calculator/

I think I wrote that progression on a synth for the demo track. We don't know much about music theory, so we rely on intuition mostly. If it sounds good to us then we use it ;)

For clean sounds I like Fender amps that can be pushed into overdrive. I like saturated clean tones that sound a little dirty. Then I'll layer a super clean amp under it like a Fender Twin to fill it out. For heavy rhythm sounds I'll run a fuzz pedal into a clean amp, and layer it with a high gain amp like a Peavey 6505+ or an Engle Savage. But I'm always experimenting with different amps on the AxeFx so there are no rules. Whatever sounds good is good :)
