March 2020 - The Birthday Massacre - Promo shot (Patreon)

Testing this new system! 

It's Brett here, the "newest-old" member of the band. I'll be helping out with the Patreon and some Social Media stuff going forward. This was my first photo shoot with the band since somewhere around 2004-2005 when I was playing keys in the band and we did a pic together on tour.

This photo was taken on March 15th 2020, the day before Canada locked everything down and what also seemed like the day the Earth stood still... There was uncertainty in the air as we all got together for this. We talked a lot about what this virus might be, what it could mean for the band and what it could mean for the upcoming tours. Despite that, we all had some good laughs, made some jokes about the apocalypse, how we could actually appreciate a break in isolation, we were built for this, hahaha, we can retreat to our vampire caves and revitalize ourselves!!

Little did we know that 7 months later we'd still be uncertain about the virus and what the future holds. It would seem that 6 months was our breaking point and it's time to reconnect! We've been floating around in a "bubble" together and we hope to virtually bring you into that "bubble" now.
