While we're at it, happy New Years, and the rest of the holidays!

This upcoming week I am ON VACATION!
It's not admin week, and apart from a few... minor.. things... I'm going to be trying to RELAX. Take a break for once. I've basically been in close to non-stop work mode since I started BTDEM, and while admin weeks are really good for stopping me from getting overwhelmed, this is one of the only true vacations I've ever taken. I've tried in the past to stockpile enough chapters to take a vacation that way, but it always ended with me getting so burnt out that I needed to recover and started spiraling and.... yeah, it just never worked out for me. Bummer.

This vacation hopefully heralds the return of admin week being at the END of the month, not the start. I've been trying to force it back for a while now. I'm not committing to a particular week next month that'll be admin week, but if I could shake a magic 8 ball, it'd be the week of the 22nd. 

While we're on the topic of posts - the News Years will have a post as usual. Expect a chapter the night of the 31st or first thing on the 1st, depending on your timezone. 

I want to thank you all again for your support over the years. It brings me great joy to write about Elaine and her adventures, and I'm so happy you're all reading it. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. I don't want to make any commitments, but I do know everything from here to the end of the story is mapped out, and we're steadily moving along towards it.
