Hello!

I hope the festive period has been going well (or as well as it could be given the circumstances)!

Tdarr v2 is almost done :). This past week I've been testing the Docker containers with some of those on Discord (big thanks to them) and I'm going through the laborious process of ironing out final bugs and getting everything running smoothly across numerous platforms/environments. I've updated the UI and there are now 2 themes: 'Dark' and 'Medium' - looking to improve and add to these in the coming weeks.

In terms of an official release date, I'm looking at Sunday, Jan 24th. I expect Tdarr to be fully useable well before then but four more weeks will give plenty of time to get Tdarr nice and stable which is the main aim with any type of server application.

I've added some Docker run examples to the bottom of the README for those who want to give it a go:

https://github.com/HaveAGitGat/Tdarr/blob/master/updater/README.md

All variables in the config files can be set through environment variables.

Medium-term I'll be turning this Patreon into a page for all my applications. HBBatchBeast/HB3 is in need of an update and it would be nice to offer extras for supporters. I also have some more ideas in the pipeline as well as continued support/expansion for Tdarr.

We're now coming up to 200 supporters which is a huge deal given how long it took to get the first few but these things just take time and persistence so thank you all for sticking around. I'm excited to see what 2021 brings.

Have a good new year's eve and I'll catch you on the other side!

Thank you so very much for your work on this excellent software! I am so excited to get started with nodes after spending YEARS queuing things in ripbot264. I have five mini PC's with 6th gen i5's that I would love to put back to work! No disrespect to that software, but I was always wishing for a better way! My 1.3003 installation broke on me(couldn't access libraries tab), so I tried out the new v2 and it looks AWESOME! My transcodes were looping despite having only 1 plugin so I went ahead and reinstalled 1.3003, rescanned blah blah. ANYWAY! I just wanted to say that I love TDARR, it has been the answer to my "prayers" and I will be increasing my Patreon level as soon as my Covid hours go back to regular hours, and I can't wait to see how you polish v2! THANK YOU!

Hi Emma, thanks for trying it! I've never tried ripbot but yes having multiple nodes all running together should be pretty cool once it's all working properly. I had a raspberry pi and 2 pcs going recently which was awesome. Shame about that error but yes looking to get things sorted asap (fixing things everyday atm). Hope I can deliver :)
