Many thanks. So glad you are back at the keyboard.

Thank you, Tefler! I’m glad to see you posting again. I empathize with your situation and I wish you all the best. I really enjoyed this first part of Chapter 161. I’m hoping that you’ll soon be finished with the Tom Walker subplot. You’ve had a number of such over the life of this story, but honestly, this one wasn’t the best executed of them, IMO. It would be good if one of the old-fashioned anti-hacking techniques proved to be useful, too. You know, something like having physically disconnected copies of older data (e.g. Iron Mountain) that can be pulled from storage and compared against data from the same time period to check for tampering?

Great work, Tefler! Fun and interesting! Very much anticipating the next chapters. Thanks!

.100: ... another tiny typo, I just noticed on my reread, and I don't recall any other mentions of it, ... found this one around Word page 18 of 48: “We’ll need to complete rebuild the right arm, ..." and the 'complete' really s/b 'completely', .... okay that was my contribution to the chapter, ... can scarcely wait for #162, ... stay healthy, stay safe, ... :-) ttfn

.106: Interestingly enough, I wrote a comment that was removed, ... it involved Mad Jonah Bennings, but an AU, fan fiction version, ... and he was unaged/youthened by John's psychic DNA altering stuff, ... not exactly the type of story that I would look for, but it was an interesting rewrite of the first few dozen chapters of TSM, that included Jonah in a major role, and John not Kinsey 0 straight, .... but it sadly had no 2ndAndrocentric speculation regarding Jonah's extraordinary origins, (so that was disappointing), .... this time my comment left out most all things that might have caused it to get the hook, perhaps this comment will stay put, ... I do think, like 2ndAndro-smarty pants, that Mad Jonah might be a very interesting yet overlooked character, ... ;-) TTFN

.108: -- Way back before the Invictus crew explored the Laranthyran empire's space and the throne world of Laranya, ... I was of the belief that a Progenitor could not 'vat' enough of his spooge to have many millions of thralls at the same time, ... my best guess was for maybe 100 new thrall per load of cum, ... but Larn's teacup ceremony for coming-of-age girls (age 30) blew that idea away, by the thousands, in Larn'kelnar's empire ALL over 30 girls were part of his psychic network, ... but John shows no sign of using a vat or having the Maliri drink cum-smeared tea to join his psychic network of wards, ... Tef might have another idea or two, ... magic health (Synthetic Psychic Cum) Elixer? maybe? -- the Elixer might be a big help in saving the opposing thrall army and Matriarch from suiciding after they are broken from their Progenitor, so it could be handy to have some of the stuff around, if only Doctor Rachel can figure out how to make some SPC Elixer, ... ;-) TFFN

Since Calara wants to make smaller advanced Raptor size ships to overcome thrall fleets, then John, plus nymphs, need to start recruiting Maliri pilots. Next large group should be all the pilots from Lilyanna fleet. They have the most combat experience.

Google informs: The normal volume varies from 1.5 to 5.0 milliliter per ejaculation. The sperm count varies from 20 to 150 million sperm per milliliter. At least 60% of the sperm should have a normal shape and show normal forward movement (motility). So plenty of scope for minute doses...

.111: ...and I want to see how awesome the Star Forges will be after Dana works her magic on them, ... they might crank out her upgraded Raptor class fighters pretty quickly, .... wouldn't that be great, ... --- and a dreadnought destroying, Uber destroyer, Attack vessel for a support ship for the Invictus, ... it's been long discussed by Dana and John, ... ;-) TTFN

The star forges will be game changers but did Mel use the nymphs to power them for the best metal. No pain or death just repurposed batteries. He let them go long after the defeat of the achonin. Valada wanted to thank them for their usefulness. The Tark only forge steel ships. They have the minerals but no telepaths. The current Malari ships can’t be discarded or replaced yet because of the need to protect two empires. X probably knows of Larn keeping John running around to protect others. Spread him thin to weaken not destroy other thrall empire. For fast and dirty help for Malari fleets, add improved Malari fighters. Think Ease of pilot transition and fit in launch tubes. Slightly larger and perhaps longer to hold upgrades. Alyssa can thirty shape body and you could soul forge the armor. Six hours spread between six nymphs might provide a psychic workout. Center a Vulcan cannon similar to an A-10.( not the same fire rate)Two under wing Tachon lances and two turret cannons , top and bottom. Cloak it, add a null gyroscope , proginator engines and thrusters and paint it black for camouflage. It would be deadly. They could be useful for the fleet sent to the trade station. I would love to see my favorite fighter pilots in them later on.

Michael56Smith

.113: Well, 20 ton, it's in the name, 'Star Forges', as they are solar powered, so, no Nymphs required, ... and there are seven of the Forges, ... (or it is in seven parts/sizes?), ... -- the Trankaran's do use them, they work, pretty much, .... it took them several centuries to put them back together after the War in the Heavens, ... and get them working again, ... sort of, ... (Dana can fix it) -- Oh, I do like your Thunder Pig version for the Raptor, ... the A-10 was very impressive, ... ;-) ttfn

I understand they are powered by a star thus the heat shields. They have no telepaths so in this fantasy world they could be using it on level one for steel where psychic energy coupled with oxn could produce stronger materials. The soul forge made various strengths depending on psychic energy used. Tef has revealed very little background much less full technical schematics. I wonder if the forgelords were able to retain the knowledge like the Malari energy weapon engineers.

Finished rereading some of the last chapters and a few things made me go hmmm….

20 ton

With Daphne getting ready to control the robots on Kys, is she about to get an upgrade in computing power? The crew’s feelings have increased Ann giving her many compliments as well as her positive interactions helping the crew. Will she hit a next phase as mom is about to wake up?

The strongest forces they are able to create are Dana’s black holes and the bow wave. Thrall ships are more durable that Brimordian com satellites. Rocking their world may be necessary to save Malari lives. As the only thing damaged so far are engines, fleet commanders may cluster them engine to engine like a balled up hedgehog. A controlled black hole crushing engines would be effective and psychologically terrifying.

Michael56Smith

.126: Well, 20 ton, you have certainly been thinking TSM lately, good job! ... And yeah, the Invictus's powerful bow wave, and Dana's super intense gravity wells are definitely weapons they now need to employ, .... I just wonder if Genwynn Station (formerly a weapons platform) will unleash a few blasts (destroying centuries of added living spaces), .... and completely surprising those multiple Galkiran fleets, and will the station still have protective shields? ... can't wait for chapters #162 and #163, .... ;-) TTFN

Michael56Smith

.127: at the end of chapter #161, John was going to sleep on his choices, defend the Venkalyn home world, or the Genwynn trade station, with a sizable portion of its males still on board, .... well, the 6 cruisers invading Venkalyn vs 10 fleets approaching the trade station, ... I expect Genwynn to be the one defended, ... and Invictus to trash them good, with the Weapons Platform's help, and I expect them to take out several Galkiran fleets worth of ships, ... just engines or break a few ships apart? ... is it time get deadly serious? ... ;-) ttfn

John doesn't seem willing to kill off any girls. Although it didn't seem to be too much of a bother on Larn'kelnar's ship. Especially when the twins went to work! Looking forward to 162 and 163 as well.

Kal’s forces act like those of authoritarians, led from the top and no freedom for adapting to conditions. He was distracted but has 14 hours to focus. How will he adjust has me wondering. Which fleet may change course. The male engineers kept the weapons working ,did they leave room to maneuver and aim. Sudden lance and quantum rounds front inside the station would be a surprise. John has put a lot of effort to disable not kill. Time is not his friend. Killing to save lives seems to be the next moral question John is facing. Glad it’s him in fiction and not me in real life.

Still wish more of this was in ebook and audiobook formats too. They would be awesome

.140: ... Tef came out of the gate hot this month (and from the tail end of last month), ... but while I do expect some more words (chapter #162, plus), ... but he also managed to drop one chapter to Literotica (#144) early in April, and it sounded like he'd work to drop a few more soon, ... yet nada so far, .... -- I know there will be some nice gifts under the tree at April's end, but they might not be as much as I'd hoped, .... I am so happy to have Tef writing again, but I can't help but be a bit greedy for more, ... --- oh well, I have my fingers crossed for the conclusion of Gahl'kalgor's fate (and his little boat too), to be determined this month or the next, .... maybe the same for Tom Walker (I still think he needs to break jail, .... be the fugitive 'Rat of the Federation'), .... -- And will Governor Vaughn encourage the Outer Rim to break from the T-Fed's? or will Luce clock him a good one (Ka-Pow), ... -- and will Henry Voss, Charles Harris, and Lynette Deveraux beg John (and Dana) for more high-tech upgrades for the Fleets? and the new tech processes to make those parts, .... Voss industry stocks to climb again, ... Alyssa invests wisely, ... --- Alyssa elaborated on her audacious plan, Lynette’s scowl faded away, to be replaced by a look of incredulity. The Fleet Admiral placed her wine glass on the coffee table, having lost any interest in getting drunk, and listened intently as the young woman spun a captivating narrative. By the time Alyssa had finished describing how she would break the news to High Command, Lynette was actually feeling cautiously optimistic herself, ... *You’d be appealing to their basic human instincts, * Alyssa explained to the captivated officer. *The upper echelons of the Federation might believe they’ve evolved to the peak of sophistication, but we’re all still tribal animals at heart. * -- So, what Audacious idea did Alyssa plant in the Fleet Admiral's pretty head? -- Well, yeah lots to catch up with, ... and I am so sure that the Invictus crew will readily defend against this latest Progenitor, that I am more looking forward to a living and breathing Faye soon, than to how Kal gets his ass(hat) handed to him, ... -- that's enough Yadda-yadda for tonight, .... see ya later, gators, ... ;-) ttfn

Michael56Smith

.141: a little nit to pick: ... Is it a 'fixed' wormhole generator or is it still the barf generator? Near the end of chapter #158, Alyssa announced that she had found the error in the Wormhole Schematics, she blamed the nausea math on Xar'aziuth, ... then she helped Dana work out the 'fix' needed, and John began to make the corrected parts that Dana's new Schematics said that they required, .... an easy fix, ... end of chapter, ... then in chapter #159 they were jumping /harassing the Galkiran Fleet again, but no mention was made of the wormhole generator, 'fixed' or not, .... perhaps the mentioning the 'fix' install was lost in a re-editing? ... I do assume it has been 'fixed', and that no one got any vomit splashed on their boots, ... ... and offering that wormhole generator upgrade to Rahn'hagon's current dreadnought might make a nice opening conversation starter, ... and John's Mom would really like it, ... plus the loving Son could then be gifting them some significant food stores, both Terran and Maliri along with new recipes for those two to learn, ... an assortment of shoes and clothes, and lots of music, halo-movies and such too, ... ;-) ttfn

According to the keeper of the time line Cignal, the wormhole generator has not been fixed yet. John got distracted and made Sakuras swords instead of the parts.

Michael56Smith

.147: Well, if that's the case, then Tef had better get around to saying that the wormhole generator is 'fixed' in tonight's chapter drop, ... no more barf generator, ... and thank you TF007 and Cignal, ... ;-) ttfn
