its still just 12 right now, so far each time a group has promoted they paused adding more members until promotions were done.

so for the member selection into groups, they actually avoided doing what you were concerned about. it wasn't just the most popular 4 in one group, and the other 4 in the second group. they gave us short clips of two songs and you were deciding which member you thought best fit that song. so for day 1 they said "between member A and member B, pick which song you think suites them best". then day two they did the next pair, and so on for each of the 8 members. this gives the company some level of control b/c they are picking the pairs that are being voted on, so you aren't going to just have a group with no vocalist or a group with only the popular members. while still giving fans input on which member they would like to do a certain concept. so far they have gone about this is a pretty smart and thoughtful way

I was actually going to request this, but didnt want to overstep since it was over 15 minutes! Yooyeon (s5) is actually fluent in english, so im surprised she didnt talk a lot. Jiwoo (s3) is definitely the second best though. They are both from the survival show My Teenage Girl (the show that formed CLASS:y). Yooyeon was ONE rank away from debuting in that group. Many people thought that was the last we'd see of her, since her parents were against her being an idol. Up until joining that show, she was in the Science department at her university. Like was mentioned in a previous comment, they went about the voting very smart. They had you select each day which of the two units you wanted those two members in. It actually was pretty close each day (minus the Hyerin/Soomin day, everyone wanted Hyerin in AAA and Soomin in KRE) and even the most popular member, Yooyeon, was paired up with Jiwoo and it was very close (only a few hundred votes difference!) Im glad Yubin (S8) stood out to you, she is one of the surprises of the group. She was revealed days before the vote for the subunits and we didnt have much to go on for her, but she quickly became of the most popular members for the reasons you've seen so far. The latest two members that aren't in Rising, Kotone and Yeonji, were in Japan starting in January and are coming to meet these 10 members in Seoul this week! They will be in the videos with them soon, and were invited because a new "gravity," or voting session, is coming soon! (You might automatically like Kotone, she is a HUGE orbit, and her bias is Olivia. Kotone was originally on Girls Planet, the Kep1er forming show.)

At this point, I just recommend watching from the current content and then having people go back as they please since theres so much. They actually went on After School Club too, and it was a good episode, if you want to see some more typical variety content!
