Solar also covered sexy back on party people. It would be great if you could check it out. https://youtu.be/Hg6_lCO_TZ4

If you want to cringe you can check out JYP's 'Who's your momma?' (the song Mamamoo covered), though I don't know if I could handle watching second hand cringe haha. On a different note, I would totally be down for content that isn't your first reaction to new stuff.

Yeah, vibing to favorite songs does sound really cool, I'm down for it👍 And there's also B-sides of the older Mamamoo albums that I would love to see your reaction for✨

ugh this entire episode is awesome. I almost became a hwasa bias because of a song she sang solo on this ep, but I guess it wasn't included in the compilation. Also yeah, nothing wrong with watching performances/videos of songs you've already officially "reacted" to. I'm also very VERY into some exploration into mamamoo b-sides. So long as you're enjoying it, I'm almost definitely enjoying it!!

Hey! For songs you love from any group, maybe you should drop a suggestion box for alternate versions of those songs (live performances, remixes, concert versions etc). Fans will know which ones are the best, and can guide you to fresh experiences of your favorites. For MMM, it’s easy, as their live stuff is always going to be hot and unexpected twists. Just a thought for how to relive some of the magic in a fresh way.

I remember also watching that Sure Thing performance endless times when I became a blink haha. Mamamoo and BP are actually the only two groups that I've seen on this show, but I really like the format of it. This was a great compilation, I really enjoyed watching these performances again. And listening to songs you already know with us sounds like a great idea. Either just the songs themselves, or I really like Aversion's idea of watching live performances. It could be something nice to do on a live stream, although I'm not sure how Twitch is with copyright in that regard 🤔

Just a little FYI, most of the songs you didn't recognize in this performance are b/c they aren't mmm songs in the first place: JYP medley (ofc), question mark (the one with "eh, eh!" tiny jumps) and the one Wheein sang solo at the end are covers/medleys

Aw Hwasa's solo performance wasn't included. Its one of my favorite covers ever. "Whistle" by Lee Moon-sae

Not to mention Solar's "Sexy Back". Really the whole episode was excellent.

this was one of my favorite MAMAMOO's concerts. idk it feel so chill, they just singing and showing how much they love what they do ❤️

I love the compilation. I do wish they'd included Solar's Sexy Back solo. That's something I've watched many times. I totally be here for doing a series of old favorites. You'll actually get some of that with the Mamamoo the Best album.

ah i wanted to say this but I was waiting for a good place! I'd love for you to get into some more mamamoo albums like you said, and also.. since you finished moomoo trip, if you want another show to watch at any point you could check out IDOT? idols like moonbyul, somi, seulgi, yooa made a drama together and it's so entertaining!

You should really react to Mamamoo's appearances on King of Masked Singer! Solar did "Already one year" and "I'll give the love that stays with me", Wheein did "I don't know yeat what love is" and "Who's your mama" by JYP that they sang in this episode, Hwasa did "Bang bang bang" and "Is anyone there?" and Moonbyul did "Good person" and "The song". The performances that are on youtube are not typically the full performances, so you know.

I'd love to see your reaction to Mamamoo award show/festival performances of their older songs! You just have to see them. I'd say watch 1. Seoul Music Awards 2017 You're the Best and Decalcomanie (amazing perf) 2. Melon Music Awards 2016 You're the Best and Decalcomanie (iconic) 3. MBC Gayo Boy Group Medley and Yes I Am (medleys and amazing energy) 4. KBS Gayo 2017 Mamamoo Concert (15 min of throwbacks plus a fun 2017 medley)

Sorry just adding info after watching! Mamamoo were VERY popular in 2017, they started blowing up in Korea in 2015 with Um Oh Ah Yeah getting no.5 on Melon, with You're the Best getting an all kill on the charts i 2016 and pretty much made them a very popular group that year. Decalcomanie also came out in 2016 and although it didn't too well on the charts immediately, after their viral performance at the Blue Dragon Awards, the song shot up the charts and is currently their most streamed song in Korea after Starry Night. Yes I Am - Mamamoo had one of their biggest gaps and when they came back with this song, they recorded their highest unique listeners and this song was played everywhere in Korea and on tv shows especially til this day. Whilst 2018 Starry Night got them even more exposure internationally, in 2017 they were already very popular.

I'm just catching up to this. Party People aired for one season, in 2017. This was the last episode, number 12. And yes, the set featured a working bar that served alcohol. Everyone is drinking. That's not fake. The show concept was a party, hosted by JYP, where the artists perform to have fun, not promote their latest thing. That's why you see lots of cover performances from this show (like "Sure Thing" covered by Blackpink). The show was probably not renewed because it didn't really fit into the idol marketing mold. Also the chaos factor was high, so it probably made artist managers nervous. Like in episode 8, where you can watch every single guy in the room try to hit on Sunny. It was a little too uncontrolled for Kpop. But the iconic moments live on. And Solar was rejected by every single Kpop company, including JYP, before she debuted at RBW. JYP jokes that he fired the trainee manager who rejected Solar.
