So glad you stayed for With My Tears. This song and Shine on You, from last year as well, were insanely good OST tracks from Wheein. She really does suit ballads so well. The two also did cover of Almost Is Never Enough that was just ear melting if you want to listen in your own time. That Crazy In Love performance was so damn good. Hit The Stage had some seriously incredible performances. Sadly it was a short lived show. Only a handful of episodes in 2016(?) but there were some sick stages in its short run. Just from memory, Taemin, Chungha, Hyoyeon and especially Hoya from INFINITE had great performances from the show. Hoya's final performance in the show was so memorable to me.

Thank you so much for staying for both songs! I was a bit unsure on how you'd feel for the OST but it is my favorite song that she has done on begin again so far (she has done four). Although I absolutely love her solo version this duet was breathtaking. I think I loved the fact that she sings in a bit of a deeper tone compared to him? I don't know if that's how you say it because I don't know the technicalities of music, but I think they complimented each other's voices really well. I've heard it countless times by now and I still hold my breath during the last chorus when they go all out.

Wheein is one of my favorite female vocalists in KPOP, honestly Mamamoo is my favorite girl group. And Minseok, the main vocalist from Melomance, is my favorite male vocalist in all of Korean music. Their vocals together are so amazing. I so happy Melomance is back together after Minseok's military service and they can start releasing more amazing music. I hope you check out more from them in the future. I so glad you reacted to their performance.

every time I hear wheein's voice in these begin again episodes I feel like I'm having some sort of out of body experience, especially with an amazing singer like melomance. His voice has such an incredible resonance and hers is so breathy... when they harmonize it sounds unreal.

Hit The Stage was an Mnet series for 10 episodes in 2016, and that's it. It paired Kpop idols with professional dancers for dance performances. It featured Momo, Hyoyeon, Bora, Chungha, (my love) Mijoo and a bunch of dudes that I don't know. Seriously, it was very good. As you could tell by Joon-hyung Park yelling "JYP!" there was a lot of company rivalry in the show. That "dangerous love" performance by Mina and Momo was based on a true story of a man who was obsessed with a woman and kept her trapped until she died. It was a tragic story in Korea.. I'm sure others can tell you more about it. It was shocking that two Kpop idols did a performance based on something that dark in 2016.

There's just something special about wheein's voice. I don't even know how to explain it, but it feels like my soul gets healed. Glad you stayed for With My Tears. That song is special.

Oh and if you ever push with the kdrama reactions, Hospital Playlist is a really good kdrama. Yes it's set on a hospital and revolves around the struggles and wins of saving human lives, but the core really is about the main characters' friendship and love for music. The drama got reaaally popular in SK too. 🥰

Mamamoo's OST hits different man i tell you! I'm not a huge listenner of OST but i liked every single one of those who invovled MMM around only one of them. You should check them, also yeah Melomance was a discover on this performance and damn his voice is something

I feel you with the playlist thing. My main playlist, where i put EVERY kpop song i even slightly like, has 1871 sonds and is 104 hours long. So i skimmed my absolute favourite songs and that playlist "only" has 492 songs and is 27 hours long. And then i sort songs by year, starting with 2018. But just like you i should make different genre playlists or other stuff because where should i put songs that came before 2018, make more year playlists? But where do i start and where do i take the time? In the end, i can't listen to everything anyway and so i just put a playlist on shuffle and that's that. 😂

Hit the Stage!!! Ten's performances on here were some of my favorites. Taemin, U-Kwon, Hoya, Rocky, Yeugyeom, Feeldog, and Shownu were also on there, and that's just the male artists I can remember off-hand. My brain is blanking on the female artists besides Momo, Chungha, Bora and Hyoyeon. There were so many good performances on this show. Definitely worth watching, even though it's older.
