I'm really glad you checked out that Wheesa video. Their friendship over the last 10+ years is something very precious to see. It's for sure true that Hwasa is clingier to Wheein. My little theory is that it's because Wheein stuck by Hwasa while they went through being trainees together. In their rookie years, Hwasa was part of a short radio project with an FT Island member and a BTOB member and during one of the shows she talked about Wheein; she told a story about how one day she asked Wheein "What would you do if I died" and Wheeins reply was "How would I live without you". Then Hwasa said that without Wheein, she wouldn't have been able to survive all the hardships of trying to make it all alone in Seoul. No doubt Hwasa and Wheein went through a lot of tribulations in those few years. There's a lot of clips in this video of a vlive the two did together on the rooftop of Hwasas apartment building. They went live to celebrate Wheeins birthday and the release of Wheeins single Easy. It's a piece of content that has always stuck with me since you can really see how much they care for each other and the interactions in the vlive really show it. Wheein was clearly nervous about the release and had other personal worries going on around that time; you can see how much Hwasa cares for her when you see her trying to comfort Wheein during the broadcast. It's a vlive that really shows how deep their friendship has been.

Wheein is definitely a tsundere but there are a lot more examples of how much she truly loves and appreciate Hwasa than shown in the video imo. Like her threatening to literally quit MMM because she thought Hwasa was getting kicked from the group

Wheesa friendship is like something out of the movies, meeting during middle school, pursuing the same dream, and eventually end up in the same group, it all sounds a whole lot like a miracle😄 And yes, all the Mamamoo girls personalities really shine in the variety shows and behind the scenes (especially in ‘MMMTV’), and sometimes they’re very different from the personalities that they show on their music videos and performances.

I'm very happy that you got to see a bit of Wheesa's relationship! When I was just getting into Mamamoo, their friendship was something that caught my eye and honestly what made me look deeper into their personalities past their music. I think that a lot of the time, it is in the interactions between the members where you can see them be more human, grounded, and relatable? I don't know if that makes sense. Wheesa to this date remain my favorite friendship in mamamoo, there's just something truly magical (as others have said) about how much they have gone through together. I also feel that especially in their earlier days, Wheein was the one to get Hwasa to act silly and dumb. I've always been a little hesitant about requesting ship videos, because some people can take it to the extreme and it does get annoying (for me) when people just push that to the point of asking the members themselves about it on lives and stuff. That said, if you can look at them objectively and just focus on their friendship, they can be quite heartwarming, so I might request one for patreon in the future. As a side note, my cat was being very annoying while I was watching this and for a second I got confused when yours was meowing cause I thought it was on my end lol, but anyways, thanks for the quality reactions as usual!

Randomly remembered you asked - when they were in the office setting dressed up as office workers it was for the video "Aze Gag" same era as Yes I Am! I don't think you've watched it since it's a b-side, which is probs why you didn't recognize it ☺️

For me.. Mamamoo is literally the epitome of 'duality'. The person they are on stage, are so much different than them in real life.. Mamamoo as a whole is such nice people with great personalities each in real life. On stage they may look very intimidating, powerful and charismatic. Its series like these that would make people realize how they are such sweethearts.. Especially in MMMTV, Solarsido and Studio moon night. I really do suggest all the ship videos from insomniamoo. I think when you eventually get to start watching MMMTV where they show themselves you'll see more of their actual personalities shine! And yes haha there's so many Mamamoo stages to show and let you know about it, it would take years!
